  • Great interview, but a bit ironic that the subject is cinematography yet this was shot on auto-focus.

    (I once shot a modern dance piece at the opera house in Mazatlan, a vid cam stuck on auto-focus, which was a drag, because there were bats that kept flying in front of the camera and messing with the focus...) Thanks for posting this super significant video clip. Demme & Herzog...great minds!

  • is a photo camera, the focus is automatic. I have a new one now, is not that bad...
