If anyone knows if there is video of the segment we taped for the Jerry Lewis Telethon or other videos of the ranch please email me . Thanks, Keith Futch

  • Dear Debbie

Very sorry to hear Curtis is longer with us. It has always been a big regret of mine that I never saw him live but this song was massive on the UK rockabilly scene about 15 years before this performance but you cant tell by the audience's reaction that he's a hero. It also brings back great memories xx

  • I grew up in Thomasville Goergia,Me and Curtis were good friends,he use to play in Moultrie on Friday nights then Cairo on Saturdays,,,,,,Great Friend

  • Excellent Brings back memories of Saturday nights at his Radio Ranch. Would like to correspond with other Curtis Gordon friends.

  • I wish I had been there. Which year was this?

We played with him on his only 5 European shows as far as I know.

1995 at Hemsby UK and 4 shows the following year in Germany: Rostock, Berlin, Stemmen and Munderkingen

  • My dad was played guitar at Curtis Gordon's Radio Ranch; his name was Stanley "Red" Beverly. I was there when Jerry Lee Lewis tore up the piano although I couldn't have been over two or three years old...What was it like back in the day? My dad passed away in April 2004 but knew Curtis Gordon in Moultrie and played with him there as well.

  • Fair play to him, doing a great job, sod hard rock, listen to whats going on in front of your eyes. Bloody legend thats what.
