  • LOL! Your Cockatiel is 'strutting' with his shoulders arched! That's his way of telling the cat "I'm the boss!"

  • Not too close, can never trust cats

  • be careful with the cat and the bird make shure you never leave them by themself cause the cat might kill your bird .

  • If you ever gonna say that cat is dumb, you have a deep problem with me..

  • @jarspa3000 shut the fuck up

  • Don´t you call your cat a dumb!

  • In the very beginning it sounds like the plant monsters that drop the deku sticks from Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask

  • he's trying to invoke fat chocobo

  • Fuckin bird balls

  • The 'tiel is courting the cat... he's got "heart wings" and is making "kissy-faces" and is singing to him! For real, lol.

    <3,

  • i dont think the cats dumb..

  • "YOU SHALL NOT PA....wow is that a tree?"

  • Turns out the cat has a PhD. in nuclear physics...

  • I FEAR YOU NOT, DUMB BEAST XD

    lol

  • Cats are not dumb. They fool you into thinking so.

  • Whats up with tiels failure to have any fear insticts?? Mine will walk right up to the dog and try to pick at his feet, or will run up and hiss at him.

  • the birds like want a peice of me huh huh well thats to bad cause u cant have this

  • that bird is boss.

  • He's like "I'll kick yo ass mother f**ker!"

  • Better watch out! The cat's not afraid of the bird either

  • Haha I love how the puff themselves up to make them look bigger

  • is it just me or does it sound like ur tiels saying "cat cat cat cat cat cat cat" o-o

  • omg that is the exact noise my cockatiel charlie makes & that cat must be a twin! my cat is pretty much identical! :D

  • plz everyone saying R.I.P. sorry for ur loss etc read the description, the cat is not dead.

  • @dilpickle31198 u mean lions? and if u hate cats, then don't come here to see a vid of a cat and a bird and lions and tigers ARE cats, just bigger and more predator-like.

  • @dilpickle31198 Wtf... lionss and tigers r cats just bigger and more exotic and live in jungle

  • @dilpickle31198

yeah them "loins" are majestic creatures.

  • My cockateil, Synder, makes those "kissy" noises too! I just wish we would stop yanking his feathers... -_-;

Yes, I take perfect care of him. The only problem is, is that there is no other birds to chill with while I'm at school so he gets bored and plucks his feathers. It gets really annoying.

  • @VvSabervV so does my bird hahah

  • @VvSabervV

That's why you purchase things like "BIrd toys" from local Pet stores. Or, if you already have tons of toys for him, maybe you should re-arrange his cage.

  • hahaha at 0:15 the cat licks it lips like the cockatiel is delicious looking food.

  • sort of like an eleaphant and a mouse

  • "Help! I need some help. (the neighborhood is getting rough around here!)

  • Hey that cat is nice and friendly - NOT dumb!!!!

  • Humans can't even get long but those two can! Were hopeless....

  • Careless and dangerous

  • OOOHHH... that's risky. O.O

  • english bird is defeting the hitler kitteh!

  • Kitty playing Jesus!

  • cats are not dumb, they're pretty intelligent.

  • @olivierfromricochet blatent lie.

  • @BrettHuestisChannel No srsly, they're the only animals I know to look left and right before crossing the streeth, won't get lost easily and can remember who is nice to them.

  • A pair of star crossed lovers..... you know what, Romeo and Juliet jokes stopped being popular eight years ago >.>

  • Maybe the parrot thinks that he's a cat too? :D

  • amazing pretty bird :) cat is pretty 2.

  • How do you keep the cat from eating it? :?

  • @NodDisciple1 cat's usually aren't interested in smaller animals until they start moving/flying. Since the cockatiel is just sitting there the cat is just curious and not in a playful or aggressive state

  • sry for the loss of kitty

  • @TheBurdluver not dead.

  • 200,000th person !!!

  • My cat was terrified of my cockatiel. Whenever Angel was out, Fluffy would run for the hills.

  • this reminds me of my bird Charlie...

whenever i hold her and a dog is sitting on me she goes down and bites it...

The dogs r scared of Charlie :)

  • My cockatiel used to make this noise. Is there a name for it?

  • @zevex747 its a courtship call. Its used when a bird is trying to bond with another animal, or in my case the water dish. lolz.

  • why isn't the cat trying to eat the cockatiel? (I wouldn't want that to happen)

  • @jojo386769 - it's likely been a house cat for most of its life, and house cats are used to eating small pellets and processed cat food. They don't see large moving things as food.

  • cute

  • What a sweet bird and cat (NOT dumb!). I'm sorry you no longer have the cat.

  • @JenJW it is not dead, read the description

  • cockatiel is like: "what a tasty plant" ...and cat: "what a tasty cockatiel"

  • lol. smells bird and licks lips at 0:50

  • the birds like WTF

  • Cat is like,"maan shiiit AND I'm hungry as hell? Awww man I can't even be around this shit hell naw."

  • lol why are cockatiels obsessed with cats

  • @Drazhenko

unknown alliance between cockatiels and cats....they wait 4 the right moment to rule the earth :P

  • vão todos se fude

  • what a wonderfully sweet cat....not dumb at all....the one who wrote this has no clue what a smart cat they had....lovely bird...has to spread the news...so cute...

  • SO sweet - the bird's obviously got a lot to say!

  • how do I get my dog to stop trying to eat my cockatiels?

  • The cat is not dumb, he is sweet and respectful of the smaller member of the family.

  • Awww, this video made me smile! :) I used to have a cockatiel named Chester Bester about 10years ago. He made the same chirpy noises yours does. Your guy is much brighter looking than mine was. Thanks for sharing!

  • aww, they are sooo so cute.

  • omg, your cat looks exactly like mine. XD I used to have a tiel like that, too, but we don't have them anymore.

  • way to keep ur pimp claw strong lil man!

  • a cat and a bird relationship, is like wen a boy wants to make love to his best female friend, but knows its wrong

  • Perhaps he´s to large a food object for the cat? But according to me, never let this happen for the birds sake!! Prays and predators,

  • hitlercat?

  • Mommy see i don´t hurt him haha....just as long your watching:P

  • I wouldn't call the cat dumb.. I'd say the opposite actually

  • I think their debating on whose going to do the laundry their laying on...

  • did any one else see that 0.52-0.53, the cat just licked them lips of his!!

  • just waiting for the camera and the hooman behind it to move away.

  • but when individuals of any species live in a household oftentimes they see each other as family members.... this isn't so strange... they're friends.. or perhaps they even perceive one another as "litter mates" or members of the same flock :)

  • rofl thats a funny sound its making.....XD

  • its TWETTY,"i ant scared of no putty cat"

  • Bird is like, haha I'm gonna outlive you by sooo long.

  • @fleming334 lol i fed mine a french fry one time. never really fed him alot of human foods though:P

  • My two females do this to me when it's mating season. It's not aggression, she's making a pass at your bewildered cat!

  • OMG the bird does that with it's wings to mark territory lol, it's brave

  • why is the cat dumb?

  • coz catz eat anything smaller then em that moves and have meat

  • so funny love it if only all cats wont eat bird!!!! mine eaten by a stray cat anyway love your cockatiel it sings so cutely

  • 0:41 omnomnom

  • R.I.P. kitty

  • @DeanLyman read the description, hes not dead lol

  • @DeanLyman "he likes to talk, he's a sweetheart, they were never left alone together and I always kept a close eye on them. The cat IS NOT DEAD! it was my brother's cat, he left with it!"

  • haha!!! My brother and I call those "heart shaped wings" when they're in a really great mood.

  • i think the bird is hitting on the cat! He is trying to make her a girlfriend....very funny

  • @cat22203 yes, it looks like it...we call those "heart wings" they make when they are flirting...lol

  • @cat22203 MY tiel did that with my dog, and both of them were males. LOLZ

  • @SlenderTroll no problem: they will be boyfriend and boyfriend

  • @cat22203 you can make girlfriends?

  • in this case, who is stupider? the bird or the cat?

  • i guess the cat wasnt hungry.

  • Shortly after I adopted my 1st Schnauzer, who was quite mellow I must add, I came home from work to find my cockatiel less than a foot in front of the dog singing to him. I did't dream the bird would leave his cage, let along go and introduce himself to what could have been his end.

  • Well, I don't know about cockatiels, but I've heard that budgies can become incredibly daring around other animals (sometimes suicidally so) once they become comfortable in a home. Cockatiels seem pretty bold, so perhaps they're similar?

  • Oh my God he licked the feather? OH WHEW!!

  • ah jee obviously u cant read.. for some reason the bird is still alive after almost 12 years.. i must be doing something wrong..

  • I have a cockatiel that is going on 23, he grew up with a cat and barks like a dog when someone is at the door. I broke his wing when I was six and he was 10 and he has never learned to fly since but he's still super brave and takes the odd jump to go exploring, and he's still sexually active with his plastic doll toy, so I figure he'll probably live to be about 30-35 =) Hopefully anyways. He's watching me type this right now and chewing on my morning toast lol.

  • straw3rri3:

A bite or a scratch will do that, but I don't think licking will. I'll have to ask a breeder or a vet about that. However, it'd be nice if you'd be more polite about it.

  • "long gone 3 yrs" ? huh ?

  • the cat looks like he's very disinterested haha

  • why didn't you like the cat? ..as the bird I mean; maybe that would have changed their relationship into a more beautifull one too. here it appears to me like they are influenced by you giving + to the bird and - to the kitty.

  • cat saliva is poisionous to birds

  • lol the cats like WTF why do u not fear me?!!!!!!!!

  • aw the cat's got a sort of doofy face haha.. he seemed really gentle though :o)

  • house plants can be poisonous to cockatiels.

  • Yeah, they should be removed or something

  • My cockatiel teases the next door neibours cat and dog by making a clicking noise at him while he jumps at the cage trying to get my bird!

  • cats not dumb, no animals are dumb!!!@!

  • at 0:37 ur cockatiel looks like a knife walking roflmao

    just kidding

  • how cute! my cockatiel used to do the same thing, hes doing the mating dance to the cat lol hilarious and the cats all like, im not into you.. can I go bek to slp now.. hmm you smell of food lol

  • Cute video, we have a cockatiel and a Ragdoll cat as well... they are pretty good together but we always keep a close eye on them... tiel is not scared of the cat at all, he hisses if Duke comes too close-check out our videos!

  • at the beginning the cats all like hmmm. what to do.... *looks at bird* WTF?!?!?!"

  • that cat is not dumb hes just nice

  • The cat sniffed the bird's tail, then licked it's chops...

  • Such a cute video. My aunt had a cockatiel that would sing to their cat. Well, sang to the cat for almost 14 years. The cat was afraid of mice but, one day the cat snapped and attacked the bird:(. Shocked us all thoug, goes to show how unpredictable pets can be. (spelling might be off)

  • I taught i taw a putty tat lol.

  • 0:46

Cockatiel says: Leave me alone stupid cat!

    and cat leaves him xD

  • I must say, that cat is a real gentleman.

  • the cat is afraid of the cockatie; but the birdie isnT?

  • my cockatiel when his wingers werent clipped for the move here to tn would fly off over to my cat and bite his ears and fly back to me haha

  • my cockatiel attacks my cat, my cat is afraid of my cockatiel XD

  • my cat was just like that :)

  • Maybe the cat dint attacked the cockatiel cuz you where there.Did u ever noticed your cat looking at you?Look like he/she was waiting for you to exit the room to eat the bird.XDD Your bird is very brave.

  • both the bird and the cat are adorable. my cat terrorizes my poor bird, or at least she thinks she does...but my cat missy (8) scares the crap outta my golden retriever libby (also 8), so i wouldnt trust her with my bird amigo (11). i love all my pets, but missy is really the princess of the house.

  • People underestimate the cognitive ability mammals possess. I estimate that part of the reason why this cat didn't attack is because he/she knew what it was like to be on the wrong end of the beak. Those can feel like vice grips on acid. Smart cat, excellent birdbrain. Love it!

  • is this cat a vegiterian? :D

  • i think the cockatiel paid off the cat with extra cat food. That why the cat did'nt attack him.
