  • If this man and his ilk ever get state power it will be like Iran. Women who do not confirm and gay men will be either hung or stoned to death! Good Christian values!

  • GUYS GUYS!! WHAT IS HARD TO BELIEVE? GOD MADE "ALL" CREATURES TO REPRODUCE, REPRODUCE!!! THE FORMULA FOR THAT IS MALE/WOMAN COME ON, DOUG IS RIGHT, THEY WOULD SAY ANYTHING TO JUSTIFY THEIRS SINS, ENOUGH WITH THE INCORRECT TRANSLATION NONSENSE, HOW COME NO ONE IS POSTING UP ANY OF THE CORRECT VERSES DOUG IS REFERRING TO....

GUYS IT IS SIMPLE A TEMPTATION THE DEVIL FEEDS....PRAY AND REACH OUT TO JESUS, YOU WONT OVERCOME BY YOURSELF THAT ALL IM GOING TO SAY...GOD BLESS

  • it.... just.... keeps.... getting.... worse....

i love the quoting of scripture out of context! makes me sooooo happy

  • @marchinen777 How do you figure?? quoting out of scripture?? do you even study The Word, otherwise you wouldn't be quoting "that nonsense"

  • now that you mention it. i do. thanks for the assumption though :P.

I think I will quote one verse then bail as i believed debating over youtube is as fruitful as man with no testicles...

but ok. he mentions sodom and it being destroyed due the love of taking it up the anus, even though its heinous!

but if you actually look into it, ezek 16:49 says "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy."

  • I may be wrong, and if so, please set me straight. But i have failed to read anywhere other then in christian commentarys the sodom was destroyed due to the act of man loving? Rather I have read that sodom was more or less... inhospitable.

My issue with doug is that he is just spouting his opinion, saying its factual and biblical and people are eating it up. I think late in the"sermon" he gets God and Zues mixed up even! his talks are just fear fear fear with advenists are right thrown in too.

  • I now bow out

    Thank you for your time.

    grace and peace

  • Preach the Word, Pastor!

  • this is disgusting >:(

  • i am gay and i grew up catholic, but I do not belive in religion's scare tacticts, etc. I did experience much hate, but most of the hate towards me was from gays for being large. They were nasty and vicisous. I am adult now and I see the same happening with adult gay guys; it seems like some of them trully want to destroy eachother. I try no to relate with gays or lesbians .. Surprisingly people who have been very accepting of me are heterosexual and I am glad of that.

  • Pastor Batchelor - listening to this - do you realize how hateful you are? Gay people are just trying to have a freedom to be who they are. I am proud to be Canadian and live in a country where gay marraige is legal. I grew up Seventh Day Adventist, and as a gay person who did not chose my sexuality, I experienced first hand the hate perpetrated by the church in the name of God. Very unchristian if you ask me.

  • @rareto It's interesting. I do agree that some of the things that Bachelor says sound harsh. But I do agree with what he is saying. The acts of homosexuality are not Biblically appropriate. But I do want to say that Christians(or anyone) should not condemn others for their acts. I myself have struggled with lust and pride (both of which the Bible says are an abomination to God) and it's a struggle every day to live pure. But for some reasons gays are persecuted.

  • I believe that loving one another is what Jesus showed as the right thing to do. I do not condemn you for your struggles, as I hope you do not condemn me for mine. I want you to know that in Christ, I love you. Because you are a human being, whom the Lord created, and who I know loves God. Continue to call out those who condemn you, and I pray that the Lord will continue to work in your life.

  • @cwazyfweak I do believe that one of the greatest challenges and goals in life is to not judge others & to aspire to treat everyone with respect & love. On that we agree. I do respect that you disagree with homosexuality because you do not to condemn others who are gay. Although I personally couldn't be involved with a church that takes the view of love the sinner but hate the sin, since I feel it ends up telling gay youth to hate themselves -watch the tv movie "prayers for bobby". MerryXmas

  • @rareto I think it's important to understand that sexual orientation does not identify who we are. Scripture tells us, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28). God loves you no matter who you are or what you've done. That being said, sin is an act of transgression against God's law (1 John 3:4). It is imperative that we surrender all at the foot of the cross. (CONT'D)

  • @rareto (CONT'D) My brother, you are a child of the Almighty. He loved us so much He sent His Son to be your tourniquet and mine (John 3:16). We can have the victory now, for in Christ we are "more than conquerors" (Rom. 8:37). You were born into sin, but you were not born a sinner. Neither was I. We are all fully accountable for our sins as we have all wandered from the light, and Christ Jesus is calling us to come back and find rest in Him (Matt. 11:28). This is our plea. (CONT'D)

  • @rareto (CONT'D) I have sinned just as you have. There were things I thought I'd never be able to overcome. Fortunately, Christ overcame through me. This can be the same of you and all else who desire. I do not condemn you for your sins. This is not my place. I only ask out of love that you pray and ask God for guidance. You don't have to "kick the habit" first. Just come to Him and confess. He will do the rest if you believe. Consider this my brother. I am saying this out of love. God bless.

  • @rareto so what your sayn is that you were born "gay" ???? i hope your kiddin brother... god doesnt make mistakes.. if you think your christian, re-think that and i hope you follow GOD'S LIGHT.. NOT YOUR OWN.. but his, good luck and god bless

  • @Omar20ve A-MEN, my Brother-in-Christ! God is good all the time..The Devil is powerful, BUT Jesus DEFEATS him all the Time. Repent Repent..HOMOSEXUALITY is A SIN..AN ABOMINATION..REPENT all of you who are following man's evil laws........

  • @rareto wow..you my friend are in dire need of Jesus..Pastor is preaching the Word of God..he is not hating on you but educating from God's perspective views..I am Canadian, but the majority of the world is wrong, but God's Word is thy Truth! Search your heart as you study the Word of God and not man's words..man's ways will lead anyone astray..Jesus is The Way The Truth and The Life!

  • @ladyfrenchfly It's sad how people ignore plain scripture to try to justify their sin. The increase in sexual immorality is on the increase and sadly there are a lot of hypocrites in the church who are trying to distort the word of God.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 Are you referring to yourself? "It's sad how people ignore plain scripture to try to justify their sin". Because, my Bible, (Scripture) talks about homosexuality as being an abomination..1 Corinthians 6:9, 10.. Please read it..(effeminate applies to homosexuality) God created Adam and Eve and united them in matrimony, in the Heavens..therefore, homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord as it is going against His teachings, as He is the Holy Teacher..God bless:)

  • @ladyfrenchfly I was agreeing with you. I was referring to the people who are arguing against you. I agree that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 Just as sad is how people ignore plain self-evident truth that people are born gay just as you were born straight and you can't "pray the gay away". That's just a fact. People should re-evaluate their views on this based on that fact.

  • @edgarortega That's not true. I have a Christian friend who knows of a few people who use to be gay or lesbian and they came to Jesus and was changed. And even if a homosexual thinks he can't change, he can still repent and refuse to indulge in the sin. For example, I'm a straight male and I love sex. However, I no longer have sex because I don't have sex outside of marriage. So even though I desire to have sex, I don't.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 They're still gay. They were born that way. Just because you abstain from sex doesn't make you less heterosexual in the same way, those people are still very much 100% gay. Its not a choice. Look for the new movie coming out called Seventh Gay Adventists. You can watch trailers at sgamovie (dot) com. When it comes out, I think you can learn a lot of how things actually are.

  • @edgarortega Like I said, there are gay and lesbian people who came to Jesus and they were changed. There is an old saying that "a lie told often enough becomes true" As long as we keep telling gay people they can't can't do anything about the way they are then they will believe it. People who support gay people in their sin are just helping them end up in hell. They CAN change if they come to Jesus Christ.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 People don't chose to be gay any more than you CHOOSE to be heterosexual.. Your statement is based on complete ignorance. Homosexual's brains are wired differently -- its biological, its a FACT. What is wrong with you?

  • @edgarortega But they still have a choice to carry on in their sin or turn away from it. I'm a heterosexual man, but I choose not to have sex outside of marriage. If a person is a homosexual they can still refuse to indulge in having same sex relations.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 The problems you have trouble understanding is that 1. Homosexuality is not a sin. 2. People are born either gay or straight. 3. Choosing to have a "normal heterosexual" lifestyle, would be like you choosing to have a homosexual one--and just as appealing. It's absolutely ridiculous, and this type of thinking is based entirely on ignorance and poor understanding of scripture. It's the same type of genius that births the bigotry of organizations like Westboro Baptist Chrch

  • @edgarortega Homosexuality is a sin! God says it is. I'm sorry if that upsets you but God created sex to be between male and female.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 Homosexuality isn't a sin. What upsets me is ignorant people who have absolutely no perspective perpetuating bigotry and ignorance. If you want to get in a scripture war about it, you wont win. God created gay people, too. That's how they were born. Let that fact rattle around in your brain and think about it before you support such ridiculous beliefs.

  • @edgarortega i think practicing homosexuality is a sin. while there is evidence that homosexuality can be a hereditary thing, so can heart disease, that doesn't mean you have no chance of avoiding a heart attack, or that youcan't change it or avoid it. i personally know ppl who grew up homosexual, but pled with God for years to change their desires and by His grace have done so.

also, there isn't really need for speaking so critically of another's opinions, you won't change his mind by insults.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 This kind of dangerous talk is what drive so many people to suicide making gay christians believe they are bad for how they were born. The bullying and violence and suicides that come from this kind of ignorance is on the heads of people like you who continue talk like this.

  • proud to be Canadian and proud to be gay (=

  • @thatslavicguy well then I'm ashamed to be Canadian if that's the case..God is so good that He gave us His only Begotten Son to die for our sins..repent, be baptized before it's too late..
