Can't say I have driven either. I do maintenance on a friends titan that's about as close as I get. It's not that fast to beat the dodge though. I have been in the passenger seat I mean it's fast but not that fast.

Vehicle profit is just the tip of the ice burg. You gotta look at the larger picture. Imagine all the workers at Nissan plants here in the United States, mainly with the Frontier and Titan, go ahead and include the Tundra and Tacoma. The people at the plants building the trucks, assembling them, transporting them to car lots, insuring the transportation, the car lot salesmen, the garage workers, all middle-class Americans getting paid by those trucks.
Now take a look at American trucks being built in, per say, Canada and Mexico for example. While they are assembled and even partially built there, less revenue is brought to the middle-class American because we're not getting paid to build those trucks, we can't get paid to spend money on American stuff, feed our families. Profit matters nothing to me personally, it doesn't go to the hard working American, but the CEO's up top going broke buying German or Italian.

heres my say....titan is a DOHC V8...ram is a PUSHROD V8...pushrods are old school v8s that are slowly disappearing&believe it or not dodges HEMI aint even a true hemi...dohc v8s are more reliable&are more capable in power&torque wise!..heres a fact...im not a ford guy but theres a reason why ford is on top of chevy&dodge on sales..eversince ford swap to dohc or sohc v8s..as to chevy&dodge that stuck to pushrods bcuz there cheaper to mass produce..they were able to draw more serious truck buyers
@MrAddy2286 ford went to ohc do to wanting a far advanced futuristic motor but as far as them being more reliable that just isnt true for one there is alot more parts to fail and have more wair then a pushrod motor and ford was having problems with there aluminum heads with spark plug issues any they dont make more power but but what gives them the edge is the direct injection and the use of turbos and such , so look up million mile chevy use's a pushrod 350 v8 they are used for a reason,

Keep in mind the titans are light, My 05 keeps up with an rsx type s till he pulls out of third. (Dah its a manual). 05 titans accelerate to 0-60 in a little over 6 seconds... I have a 2010 Titan, I know the newer rams are faster, no doubt. But titan has not changed the engine in 7 years. So it took the other guys 5 years to catch up to the titan. But what do you buy a truck for anyway? Not for racing, they are made to haul sh**. I got mine for weekend trips to the mountains. And I saved 10g over buying the other brands.

@chris21839 You're simply blinded by the need to be right. The Hemi, until recently, doesn't have the torque of the Nissan Endurance engine nor does it dyno anywhere near Dodges HP claims. That's why, although they sound like beasts, they fall a bit short when put up against the Titan.

I had a run at an 09 Titan with my 09 Ram and ripped him a new one. I 'll bet that a lot of the guys running these hemi's don't run 89 octane. If I put 87 in mine I lose a couple MPG and a lot of power.

heres my say....titan is a DOHC V8...ram is a PUSHROD V8...pushrods are old school v8s that are slowly disappearing&believe it or not dodges HEMI aint even a true hemi...dohc v8s are more reliable&are more capable in power&torque wise!..heres a fact...im not a ford guy but theres a reason why ford is on top of chevy&dodge on sales..eversince ford swap to dohc or sohc v8s..as to chevy&dodge that stuck to pushrods bcuz there cheaper to mass produce..they were able to draw more serious truck buyers

@MrAddy2286 ford went to ohc do to wanting a far advanced futuristic motor but as far as them being more reliable that just isnt true for one there is alot more parts to fail and have more wair then a pushrod motor and ford was having problems with there aluminum heads with spark plug issues any they dont make more power but but what gives them the edge is the direct injection and the use of turbos and such , so look up million mile chevy use's a pushrod 350 v8 they are used for a reason,

@adamjlemus And I have a Rumble Bee and an IROC-Z28 and yes the Ram is even quicker then the Camaro but at about 78 MPH the 86 IROC pushes your back to the seat and in no time you are going from 130 to 148 and the Titan is a top-ender like my Camaro …The Bee is more of a muscle car good for ¼ mile…But don’t drag race them ,they flip easy

Titan is heavier with much less power. This is a real video of a Titan pulling away from a Ram. Obviously it's staged, or there are lies about the mods on the trucks. A stock quad cab 07 Ram with a Hemi is faster than a 2010 king cab Titan with the 5.6L. Proof is all over unbiased comparisons on the net.

Keep in mind the titans are light, My 05 keeps up with an rsx type s till he pulls out of third. (Dah its a manual). 05 titans accelerate to 0-60 in a little over 6 seconds... Thats fast for a truck STOCK!!!!. Titans are the ultimate truck. Cant wait till 2014. Give nissan a chance. There cars are great and last forever. (yeah my 05 has had a few issues but i mean its the 2nd generation titan, what do you expect). I just have to say that all the vids ive seen of titans raping cars is cool.

My current one is an 08 LWB PRO-4X and until the big 3 added more power recently, the Titan was by far the quickest full sized truck. I have a 2010 Titan, I know the newer rams are faster, no doubt. But titan has not changed the engine in 7 years. So it took the other guys 5 years to catch up to the titan. But what do you buy a truck for anyway? Not for racing, they are made to haul sh**. I got mine for weekend trips to the mountains. And I saved 10g over buying the other brands.

I had a run at an 09 Titan with my 09 Ram and ripped him a new one. I 'll bet that a lot of the guys running these hemi's don't run 89 octane. If I put 87 in mine I lose a couple MPG and a lot of power.
