  • Now would one of these setups work in 120 degrees? I live in Lake Havasu City Arizona where nothing but cactus grows. I would really love to have something like this to grow my own food.

  • @jrmhrpr

the more water you have in your system the more stable the water temperature. I have a 1200 gallon, 4ft deep pond and I live in pomona, ca; where the heat during the summer can hit 110 - the water is still at a lovely 68-75°. In the desert, however, it is the cold you have to worry about so you might want to invest in a green house to keep your plants/fish alive. (also depends what type of fish you are culturing)

    Good luck to you!

  • @FaYtStAyNyTe Cool I really appreciate the info man. Gonna get on it as soon as I have more than a day or two at home. Ill try to post a video when I get started.

  • What you Australians are doing with the aquaponics is just fascinating...

  • I am impressed with your results.

are you finding pests or the weather an issue being outside?

    Thanks,

  • great setup guys..

  • cover with whatever foam sheet/peanuts you can find. Glue it together to the tank and any holes just fill with some can-o-foam filler.
