@aramco123 It's the same only they added a few extra things, like the corpse in the closet (in the Trophy room) will come to life and chase you. Personally I think the PSX one is better because of the extra things, makes Clock Tower even more scarier... and I didn't even know that was possible =)

I just realised, that garage thing might only happen if you knock the ladder down, sort of trapping yourself if you do.
@FinalGamerJames If you run to the edge, Jennifer can actually drop down, trapping Bobby up there. The only thing is that if you drop the ladder, you can never (I think) use that hiding spot again (because you can't get up there!), so if you think it's a valuable spot, you should avoid kicking down the ladder unless you think Bobby's going to come up there (I don't know if you can push down the ladder once he starts making his way into the background).

Thanks for your help, but since I wrote that comment, I found the lantern's use.....and the key's use too. The copper key you find can be used for the cage in the shed with Simon Barrows. What you do is see Ann get thrown out the window, get the lantern, get the ham, and then when you get locked in the shed, give Simon the ham. After this, because you have the copper key in your inventory, Lotte will NOT come, and thus you'll have to use the key to get out (doesn't work to get in)
But even though the copper key found by using the lantern is kinda pointless and only gets you out of the cage instead of Lotte doing it, I think it may have small benefits. I think the main benefit of this is that you get to do the shed segment with Simon, but you don't have to see Lotte die there too, and can see her in the catacombs instead, whereas without the key, doing the shed segment would mean you'd have to see Lotte die there, and then have to do the gun crazy Mary bit.
When you see Ann get thrown out the window, go to the room where she was thrown out of the window (Fireplace room) There should be a lantern on the desk or something and you use it in the library to find a copper key that could open the jail cell in the shed in the courtyard. Well, I don't know if it is true but you can try it.

Yes I can. To open a rom, open your emulator (I'm guessing you have ZSNES, SES9X or something simular) and click Game, Load, and open your rom. if you don't see any games when you click game (or open or whatever it is in your emulator), then look at your options and make sure you have the emulator looking at the correct folder.

The game "Haunting Ground" was originally going to be Clock Tower 4... After playing it, it IS clock tower 4 with a different name...And it is awesome...

I was playing this and when i went to the garage i went to that place and didnt knock the ladder down,then scissorman left,then i jumped down and then scissorman jumps through the wall and is on top of that lil place and when he walks towards the ladder he walks off the edge and floats above me..and he looks smaller....it was very wierd...

This game been only released at Japan. But if you're lucky enough, you can find a PS1 version at Ebay or any other similar internet shop. You could try at Play-Asia; who knows they might have one copy there too.
Hey I never said I was a wuss. I'm prefectly able to play games like both The Suffering games and not get bothered. I'm just not fond of most scary games. The fact that the first time I ever played Resident Evil I got killed in less then 30 seconds may have coloured my view about it but still.
well you ought to give it another try then. resident evil and fatal frame are both very good games. and if you try again and you still die in 30 seconds, use a gameshark code or something to get infinite life. i find that not being constantly in fear of dying cuts down on the overall scariness of a game :p

It's a dead end, if she doesn't knock over the ladder Bobby will climb up and attack her, but if she does knock over the ladder it's too high up for her to jump back down allowing bobby time to drop in and kill her.
That's just pure luck. I once was once able to succeed the chase by just staying up. But later he just kept climbing up the ladders (yes, I didn't know I can knock'em down). But in the end the garage isn't the best place to "hide".

i have a stupid glitch everytime i play to much so its like this * loose trail of sisorman * i walk forward not much of 2 secon ds and he appeared in fron of me!!! but i really lose trail on him i tray everyting (runing hiding the crows thing) and he keeps appearing!

This game been only released at Japan. But if you're lucky enough, you can find a PS1 version at Ebay or any other similar internet shop. You could try at Play-Asia; who knows they might have one copy there too.

Hey I never said I was a wuss. I'm prefectly able to play games like both The Suffering games and not get bothered. I'm just not fond of most scary games. The fact that the first time I ever played Resident Evil I got killed in less then 30 seconds may have coloured my view about it but still.

well you ought to give it another try then. resident evil and fatal frame are both very good games. and if you try again and you still die in 30 seconds, use a gameshark code or something to get infinite life. i find that not being constantly in fear of dying cuts down on the overall scariness of a game :p

Nah, I'd screw up royally. And I just remembered I have tried Resident Evil: Outbreak. Forgot I had those... The problem is I always get lost in games like that. And trust me I could have invulnerability and infinate ammo and somehow I would still find a way to die. Besides Survival Horror isn't my thing. I make an exception for The Suffering because you can get enough ammo to go gun crazy and still have enough to go into the next fight. I'll take Gears of War over Resident Evil any day.

If scissorman would put down his scissors for five damn seconds, he could pick up that ladder and use it to go up and get her. But it's a good thing he didn't though.

p.s in the snes version, you can see the corpse in the trophy room (if you have an emulator which can switch sprites on/off)

the only flaw the game had, was bobbys face.
When i first sam him, my first though was "god, he sure is ugly" only to read later that this was in fact his mask...

the part where jennifer is sitting on that ladder platform, can she escape or is that an automatic dead end cuz bobby can smash thru the ceiling and give u a big scare cuz i want to kno, u can move her when she sits down

It's a dead end, if she doesn't knock over the ladder Bobby will climb up and attack her, but if she does knock over the ladder it's too high up for her to jump back down allowing bobby time to drop in and kill her.

Strangely, probably a glitch, I climbed down the ladder AS bobby left and nothing happened.Chase was over o_O

That's just pure luck. I once was once able to succeed the chase by just staying up. But later he just kept climbing up the ladders (yes, I didn't know I can knock'em down). But in the end the garage isn't the best place to "hide".
Bobby looks really hilarious he's climbing up the ladders, btw. =3
