I really feel sorry for David, I bet he has the token "friends reunion" question at every interview he does. It's difficult for an actor, and indeed a person to opererate when he/she gets typecasted because of a particular role; its the same thing that happened with Nimoy and Shatner, and its a shame people cant move on and accept good things dont last forever :)

A friends reunion will probably never happen. It would be nice to see them all back together and shooting another little something, but I'm just trying to realistic with myself and everyone who is a friends fan. I would love to say that a friends reunion will happen eventually, but I don't want to have that mindset and then be let down when it doesn't happen.

I get where he's coming from. Why mess with a good thing after the amazing way it ended? It would be a popular thing, people WOULD go see it, but look at what happened when Sex and the City tried to do movies! Now whenever anyone thinks of Sex and the City they think of those crappy movies. The TV show's legacy was ruined because of it. Also, the spin-off they tried to do with Joey's character tanked. So maybe the show ran its course back in 2004 and that was the end. And will always be the end.

But all the actors have moved on and I doubt any of them really want to do a Friends reunion. Anytime someone mentions in an interview they always seem reluctant. Even if they done a movie it wouldn't be as good as the show. Everyone would bitch about how second-rate it was compared to the show and then it would taint the good Friends name.

Man...they should really do a continuum of the series FRIENDS as older characters, like "10 or 20 years later", with Ross's kid Ben who's become a teenager and Chandler&Monica's adopted kids who gotten older and now have a house and Joey who went to the west coast (because of the series "Joey") and just seein them get back together as older people man that would first of all sell ALOT + I know that everybody wants to see them back together such as myself. as much as i love friends, bringing it back for a reunion would damage it,

the difference between sex and the city and friends being movies is that friends is a sitcom and sex and the city was a tv programme. there'd be no crowd laughing in the background of the movie for friends. which would totally change the atmosphere of the show.
