thats about the only thing an 8800gts can do decently, this pos cant even run crysis at medium settings without slapping one in the face.

Runs on any SM3.0 card, meaning GF6 series+. Runs wonderfully on my 7950GT 512MB @ 660/1600. :)

Now how does it work on a bigger scale, like a pond. Can you still keep the same resolution on the particles without lagging?

It looks good, but sometimes the water just flies up in the air for no reason, like if there was some invisible ball flying around in there. Other than that it looks really good

Nope, The PS3 and Xbox360 aren't able to do DX10.

They're already no longer next-gen by the time they come out.

ps3 uses DX10, eh.

considering its microsofts own brand, i somehow doubt that sony would move over to it.

either way, PCs are always one step ahead of consoles. no question.

wrong! u got them mixed up the video card on the 360 is dx 10 compatible, but not the ps3

The PS3 uses it's own systems, DX10 is a layer for an easier intercommunication between different pc's and programs through newer and different hardware.
