  • i want to see it going top speed

  • reminds me of the fat lazy people at walmart

  • I like it... People care a lot about how it looks instead of how it would be useful to reduce traffic jams and improve the environment.

  • I hope none of are hard earned tax dollars were used on such an inpractical device. There are electric bikes that will accomplish the same goal for a fraction of what this would cost. Not to mention you can acually use it, as are streets are already set up for bikes. They're proposing we create all new lanes for these things(I saw the demo in diff. vid). Just a publisty stunt for GM to show there trying to go green-what a joke

  • I too have 2 wheel vehicle that uses a computer to balance itself

its called a bicycle and it uses my brain to balance

  • McDonald's + Segway + lazyness = birth of Wall E

  • only 300 thats cheap.

  • Don't they already have these for fat people at Walmart?

  • 3 out of 4 obese

if everyone had these it will be 4 out of 4 obese

  • This can't stop fast at all. It has to lean farther back to stop quicker, therefore it will never be street legal. I can't imagine this used on sidewalks either. Everyone in the future will be using these in their driveways. Yay.

  • its wheels will get stuck in snow before your ass will freeze

  • So am I supposed to freeze my ass in the Winter in NYC?

  • did they say you had to buy it? no they didnt so dont write stupid things like that.

  • Nice but Gm missed the true market. Factories, Power plants, etc.

Great for those big plants or factories not

    City.

  • What a joke... GM scraps the EV1 for this crap??? No wonder they are bankrupt. See a baby seat for this thing...lawsuits galore!!

  • will medicare cover the cost of purchase?

hopefully the scooter store will carry this

  • That's right baby and when scooters REALLY take off, I've got the coolest domain name registered since 4 years back or something :)

  • Thanks for that info. It really helps.

  • What happens when you hit one big pothole at 35mph. I would love to see the crash test results

  • its a good idea but a 2 wheel personal mobility vehicle had been invented 100 years ago its called a BICYCLE

my bicycle does not induce "wear and tear" on the roads

and does the same exact thing the PUMA does without using a single KILOTWATT of electricity

  • Can it sustain 1 hour's worth of work at 35mph? Not for the average person.

  • You can ride your bicycle at 35-mph for 35 miles with a passanger in the rain without getting wet?

    How is that possible?

  • Ancient chinese secret!

  • I think its a good idea.

Everyone needs to think about the future.

This is a way to not only reduce fossil fueled cars on the road but to reduce ware and tare on the roads themselves.

People who are against it are either ill informed or too attached to their over sized Hummers.

  • They are in crisis, they take our money, they put millions in their pockets, to make a thing that I can use to take the trash out of my house?.

I was to use it, I would still have to take the seats out so I can fit my 2 trash cans in there. I hope the trash truck does not get confused and takes it as scrap metal!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this built to target the fat lazy consumer? The seat isn't large enough!

  • don't see any airbag!!!

  • Where is the innovation? Don't we already have something called scooter and electric motorcycle?

What have they done other than taking the front wheel side-by-side with the back wheel?

  • is this how GM once a mighty SUV maker

now will make motorized wheelchairs !

    id rather ride my bicyle

  • LOL! Silly Libmobile......where's your bike helmet and safety glasses?

  • 35 mph wheelchairs in traffic is a stupid as motorcycles on sidewalks.

  • I hope this kind of technology develops to have cheaper cars and eco friendly at the same time. And it is an excellent solution for the traffic jams we suffer everyday in our cities!

  • Many foreign cars can not be imported because of safety standards. NO safety on that ride!!

  • OK, my first impression was to laugh so hard that milk came shooting out of my nose.

BUT, the more I look at this PUMA based on its urban application, the better I think the idea actually is.

The average car only has one occupant , this carries 2 and you can park 6 PUMAs in the space of ONE regular car and get 2PUMAs side by side in each car lane!

It will go 35 miles at 35-mph for miles about 35 cents worth of electricity.

    This little thing makes sense!

  • yeah my mercury cougar will eat those pumas. About time when they get 35 miles an hour i'll be there in 18 mins. and zero cents of electricity... WOOHOO>> ^^)

  • I've seen plenty on nicer small electric vehicle out (Jut not in the US). Now it's sad that GM is doing this now.

  • Now that I'm part owner of GM through tax bailouts, I want to know how much money was sunk into this bastardized golf cart, who authorized it and I want them fired YESTERDAY!

This is the company who sent their executives pandering for bailouts in private jets. You would think the cold shower they received would knock some sense of reality back into their culture of delusion, but no, this is what we get.

  • Looks like my 55 gallon garbage can strapped to a segway. THat's right GM. waste more money on shit nobody will buy...

  • Truly.... Id rather buy that motorized barstool at least it has 4 sound wheels.

  • Are these people fucking retarded?

I'd much sooner ride a fucking bike than this retarded bullshit.

  • I just want to know - can I put my golf clubs in it?

  • would only work in a town or city that is designed with pedestrian lanes. Good idea, but not sure we're ready for this type of transport

  • What will you crazy american people think of next?! Don't point at me... your money went into this golf cart!

  • Americans are to lazy to walk they relly on machines to do all the hard work for them, I wonder if american's will invent a machine to chew the food they eat.

  • there is one, its called a blender.

  • but what about the enzines?

  • Yep, we are very lazy. So lazy in fact that we invented this youtube thing that you are using. When can we expect the Mexican equivalent? I can't wait to see the next big invention from Mexico! Because you know, you guys are known for such quality craftsmanship......and trustworthy government officials....and honest cops.

  • Thank you :)

Bitch, But cleaning the system is harder than it looks.

  • 2 wheel golf cart thats all I see

  • GM wasting bailout funds on vehicle design that probably won't be in demand by most women because of concerns of personal safety. Won't be in demand by most people on cold winter days or hot muggy days or rainy days. Concern of city driving for personal safety, rural driving same concerns.

GENERAL MOTORS MANAGEMENT ARE STILL IDIOTS.

By the way how hard would it be to steel a vehicle weighing 350 lbs and fits in back of pickup?

Market: Golf communities. oh wait, golf carts...

  • What a fucking piece of shit...ever heard of a bike?

  • Ever hear of 100% humidity and rain almost every day of the year? Would love to ride a bike everywhere where we are we have these problems. Add to that alcoholics all over the place driving, teens , road ragers, huge suv on narrow roads with bubble headed yoyos' on the cell phone changing the station or doing makeup in the mirror.

  • Why not new smaller urban vehicles AND bikes? Both solve a lot of transportation, safety and pollution problems problems, and makes a better combo than (traffic + PUMA) or (traffic + bikes).

P.S. cdltpx: You can make excuses and live your life in fear, or you can get a helmet and ride.

  • It doesn't have to look like that, and probably will have more styling in the end. It's experimental, so no point complaining how it looks.

I can see this being an option for people who live in the downtown core only. My guess is that it will be restricted to 50kph. Not an option for most of us.

  • LOL right -- Like I'm going to drive a motorized wheelchair with a roof on it. Ya right.

  • I can't wait to drive my own Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility, first stop: English class.

  • i hate how the stupid ads freeze the video half way! unsubscribed!!!

  • this looks like a piece of shit waste of time and money

  • Its the ugliest piece of shit car I have ever seen.

  • awsome thing

  • This seems like the Toyota vehicle thing that seats one person. The similar part is the communication system and that it's small, etc.

  • now if only we could invent something like this and the segway that isn't so damn ugly.

  • does it really matter what it looks like...dont you think we are mature enough to look past the way it looks, and we should recognize that it is an excellent mode of transportation.

wouldnt it be better to worry about looks after everyone has one and it reduces car acciddents and polution

  • bikes are superior modes of transportation to this useless invention. They also reduce car accidents and pollution...but I guess people are too lazy to ride bikes these days so they need one of these useless fucking devices.

  • lol , anyways people are so fat these they wouldnt be able to fit in these gocarts, someone is actaully is making a scooter that runs on water i think that would be better becuase bikes are slow and take a lot of energy out of you ,people to need to travel more then a few miles to get anywhere

  • idk i am on the fence

  • think of a better name than puma. weak.

  • That is rather cool... methinks the PUMA would also be low mainttenance, which is a plus (expensive machanic's bills would be a thing of the past)

  • LOL.. looks like if it bump into a dog or someone nudged it. it would fall over. Might be more maintenence than you think.. I could imagine a road rage incident like that .. XD

  • Good point, squirrelbutt. I think such a vehicle would need to have a very low center of gravity to help avoid such occurances.

  • Well if they do that then they should call it a weeble.. LOL

  • or gay

  • XD LOL..

  • People are still going to need a car for when they go shopping or something like that.

  • Good point, I think this was a invention made so americans are thinking "oh, they are doing something good with the billions of dolars we gave them!"

  • Is this was GM is doing with a portion or their money? What a joke.

  • Cool!
