there are illiterate people sometime. They know Khachaturian is either Russian or Georgian . It surprises me because classic loving people are expected to be intellectuals and understand the cultures of different nations and know them. Simply loving a waltz is not enough. You have to know the history , the story of it , the culture behind it and appreciate Khachaturian as a son of a genocide experienced nation.
@edwardhag17 maestro Khachaturian is georgian, was born in Tbilisi from georgian mother and armenian father, armenian were genocidate and they genocidate to Azerbaijan people.
This is a wonderful song, so much emotion and soul, thanks for sharing! There is something unique about our culture, and Armenians worldwide should enjoy this uniqueness as often as they can. Together, we can make Armenia a better place.
it reminds me mao asada's performances

This always makes me think of some sort of gypsy dance. Sort of like that scene in Carmen when theyre all together

I'm in Bay Youth Orchestras of Virginia, and Concert Orchestra played this twice this year. It's in my head, but at least it's a great song!
