It's nice to see the Haitian police getting praise on a successful tactical/rescue operation. Besides having enough competent, professional patrol officer to adequately cover the country, a well trained/staffed anti crime/plainclothes division is also necessary to protect and serve the public in a effective way. Hopefully the UN police will continue to lend technical and strategic support to the National Police.
