You can get a Ripp Mods supercharger stage 3 and be makin 380hp to the wheels. I gurrante you that would take out a 76 corvete or even a late model one, base corvete anyway. I have a nitrous on my 3g and it holds it own on many ballzy muscle cars. Dont knock the 3G Eclipse man, for size and engine in stock form will give a 90's mustang a run for its money. And thats a V6. I still love my car I owned a Trans Am and It was practically new and would allways be breakin down every other month!

You can do an AWD 3g V6 twin turbo, it's just really really expensive and by the time you spend all that money making it that way you might as well have gone out and bought a 3000GT VR4. And you need to do alot more to the 3g GT in order to turbo it. The engines in the 3g are alot weaker than they were in the 3kGT. But by far the 4g63 is the best engine mitsubishi ever made in the eclipse, most modifiable, best sounding, and most reliable. But I still love my 4g64, no complaints about it.

Yea but the 3.8 is louder anyways than the 3.0L in the 3g's the 3g V6 has a more mellow sound than the 4g V6. The 4g is more like, "I'm gonna rip your head off" kinda sound. But I can understand why it would make your head hurt after awhile.

My point is that people waste their money trying to modify these pieces of shit (Eclipse) when they could have easily wasted just as much money on a real sports car.
