Reason users, ACiD users? LOL I swear those programs give me a headache it's so dull. they're way powerful too but I prefer FL studio's lovely GUI cuz it's easy on the eyes. That comes in real handy when you're about 6 hours into making a track.
Jimmy Urine From The super kickass band uses FruityLoops (not exclusively of course but for some stuff). Listen to 1 MSI song & tell me he's not good. Whether u like their music or not u have to appreciate the beauty in the complexity of their tracks.
Way back in the day, Jimmy & Steve supposedly used FL & ACiD to make their little goofy Left Rights album. That's what I've heard. I'll be sure to write that one down & ask them next time they play in my area.
The software really IS interesting.. it is quite easy and ready to use, the cartoon character on the box just gave me a wrong impression - but it's all good
I just had a chance to try it out. It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be, since I now know you can replace the Chan sprites with your own animation if you know what you're doing. I just don't like how they're ditching the Robot mascot for this trendy anime crap, but I think that drawing on the trendy crowd will definitely increase their profits, which is a good thing for the FL community. It's also going to make Reason look a lot more "pro" by comparison though, even though it's not.
Lol I love the new Anime Mascot Lol!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I cant imagine that a person that thinks like this would be a good producer.

I, on the other hand, can't imagine that someone who rejects a little fun, because he tries to look all serious, would be a good producer.
That may be the right approach in mathematics or physics, but not in making music.
I'm really glad that FL Studio stands out against the I-am-sober-I-am-a-pro attitude.

Sorry - I HAVE checked out the software...

Kudos to you for taking the time to retract whatever stupid statement you made earlier. Not too many people are mature enough to do that these days.
