I met Ronnie in 1987 backstage after a concert. I was speechless. I worshipped this man and I was deeply in love with him. I am 41 now and I still feel the same way. It was not a kid crush. It was real. Rest in peace. Thanks to Wendy for the putting together his fanclub. When I received that backstage pass in the mail it was one of the happiest days of my life. Thank you Ronnie for all you have done. Never forget....love Rene. :(

My dad knew a guy who had Ronnie temporarily living with him sometime in the 70s when he and Wendy were homeless like she described at 4:34. After living with them for a little while, the guy asked them to leave but they were reluctant so he literally picked Ronnie up and threw him out his house.

a great voice in Rock has been lost, what a shame, he's one of the few singers who was still able to sing like we all remember. the man still had his voice. A few years back I saw him blow Iron Maiden off the stage, he sounded almost exactly like the album....Dio ruled. R.I.P

ill admit that Ozzy isnt the greatest singer..he has a distinct style.
its funny that iommi couldnt face ozzy to fire him from sabbath..so he made bill ward do it. and its also a fact that the whole band was high on coke..not just ozzy.
but back to DIO..he was one of the greatest, the only one who could compete with him was the great Rob halford..those were the greatest metal singers ever

My dad knew a guy who had Ronnie temporarily living with him sometime in the 70s when he and Wendy were homeless like she described at 4:34. After living with them for a little while, the guy asked them to leave but they were reluctant so he literally picked Ronnie up and threw him out his house.
