  • linda essa musica fez parte da juventude muito linda Brazil

  • absolutely brilliant

  • UK loved Crowded House. I remember when I heard the news they were splitting. Paul Hester - RIP

    xx

  • Absolutely fantastic.....

  • this some is absolutely timeless =]

  • OMG!! I remeber this song while on a rock in Southamerica...I was sad a bout a boyfriend..I must have been 15? what talent..then i moved to New Zealand to live and wow!! they were Kiwis...Lucky me to hear them all over again :)

  • Special tune for a special event. Great to see. London was so sunny that day...

  • just plain beautiful

  • wish I could see them play live

  • the farewell performance provided by dankx75 is the best of all in the list. So clean. Neil? You did not look too happy or into this performance. It does not diminish the beauty of this work and your talent...just my observation. I miss you guys.

  • RIP Paul Hester. Its not the same without you man......

  • I believe some songs transcend their time, their genre, and sometimes even their original meaning. I feel this song fits into that description somewhere. Transcendent songs will forever strike a chord...especially the first time they are experienced.

    About Dream Stealers?

    About Life's Obstacles?

    Who cares...Don't Quit

  • i feel yoou're still with me...i stil am ..love u..gg tnx for posting..

  • Is that a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz Bass he's playing?? sweet

    I want one...

  • aguante Paul Hester!!!

  • 2:47 - 3:05 is just Epic.

  • DON'T EVER LET THEM WIN!!!

  • Actually 2 hit wonder in us something so strong went top ten 2 best band ever!

  • Neil have been changing the guitar solo all over the years. I think it's fantastic, because he make variations but always keep the essence. I don't know if they're the best band, but they're songs moved me a lot. I hope i can see them live one day.

  • they are and always will be the greatest band live and neil is the greatest songwriter there music means so much 2 me!

  • They are not australian they are KIWI

  • I dont think Paul Hester (RIP) or Nick Seymour are from NZ. I do believe the band woz formed in Oz. But Neil is definatly from Nz.

  • if you want to get technical, they ARE Australian, and as a plusm, they admitted it in Melbourne last last year, (Neil) "Melbourne.. aaaa our home town, it's a lovely place now, haven't been back in a while" (Nick) "Melbourne, you are our home town, hope you realise that"

    sorry to dash your hopes...

just because they're fronted by a Kiwi, doesn't make them a Kiwi band.

they originally had ONE Kiwi, and TWO Aussies...

    just to get technical :)

  • What a great song from the 80's and still playing live until now.

  • no matter what, in Ecuador, sweden, Australia or any other country, this song rocks!!!!

  • tool avecjp ofcourse its class

  • Some Bands are remembered just for one song, but this it´s not something bad, this song is a beautiful song and is better be remembered for something beautiful than never be remembered for nothing, by the way, i love this song!

  • Only a one hit wonder in the US, in Aus, NZ and most of Europe they are massive.

  • idols in nz bro

  • absolutely true...

  • As they say the passage of time. I viewed from the start of Crowed House when this song first came out until their Earth Day performance in 2007. Great Song

  • Greatest New Zealand band of alllllllll time. No comparison

  • the band was formed in melbourne australia, theyre an aussie band, they will vouch for that

  • The best performance at Live Earth.

  • Awesome song. Check out my acoustic fingerstyle cover of this and many others. Feel free to comment :)

  • украiна любить hello from dark side of tht earth

  • Should have more like this Earth Day Watch, ...things like Greenpeace Watch, etc. :) Nice lyric!!

  • Hey now!!! Hey now!!!

    Dont dream its over

    Hey now!!! Hey now!!!

    Perfect Song and Sing.

  • Oy, sat here in Sweden the other side of the globe by computer, from sec. 1 when Sydney's set for Live Earth started. Sydney! All your different sign messages in audience cracked me up ! :-) and I followed the sun set with you, and I heard you! and when the lights went here for Crowded, t h a t was real musicians and audience in interplay! Sydney, You Were The Best!

  • I love this song, I'm so sad I missed this even though i watched Live Earth the whole day

  • Greatest song of all time!

  • no, but still pretty damn good.

  • One of my all-time favorite songs...Neil Finn is immensely talented, from Split Enz to Crowded House to his solo career.

  • His voice seems weaker. But still amazing.

  • I hear this same... Maybe because the age, he is old, impresive the speed of the time...

  • I think it may have been because he was incredibly jet lagged, he'd just flown in from London if I remember... and I vaguely remember reading he was caught with a cold at the time?.... but I do agree

  • Good Observation... Maybe is the cause.

    Thanks :)

  • It still works without Paul.

  • yeah... it's still good. but i saw them live recently, and the energy just isn't quite the same. t feels like something is just missing on some songs.

  • Great song and group. Its a shame still to this day about the drummer.

  • Amazing thanks so much for posting. Neil still has it.

  • Thanks for uploading. Great Video.

  • amazing...

  • one of the big hits in 80's...thanks for upload...love it very much :-)

  • beauty song. clasic

  • indeed :)

  • here voice is still good untel now, great, awesome, nothing change but the time is change

  • This is one of those songs that touches you soul in so many ways. I feel awesome everytime I listen to it. One of my all time favorites!!! Too bad I was a bit too young when it came out in the 80s.

  • He fooled a little in the guitar solo. Great song, great sound. But i think the best live perfomance of this song was at the 1996 farewell concert in Sydney.

  • That's Neil for you, rarely are two solos the same with him.

When I saw the Crowdies live last year, Neil changed the Don't Dream It's Over solo soooo much, but it still sounded unbelievable!

  • You saw them live! Lucky Guy :)

  • after all these years still looks great this song.

  • i was in australia @ that time and saw the concert, in this moment i believed in change....

  • magic

  • i agree!

  • Such a great song and a great performance!

  • thank you.

  • awesome!

  • you know they wont win, dont ever let them win.

  • huh?

  • watched this stream live, by far the best performance of any of the bands in all the concerts

  • they will always be the best band in any concert
