I've always loved photography and never thought I could make it in the business cause I didn't study photography. Lately just by word of mouth people have been contacting me asking me to photograph them... so I guess I must be doing something right lol ... However, I'm supper scared of shooting weddings even though am in love with wedding photography. I think I might start asking around and see if I can carry someone's bags for a while! @JenWasHeree What is your favorite thing to photograph. Also if I can give one tip: Talk to the gal who already has her own business,, ask her if you can come along and help on her next shoot then pick her brain. 60 D is a great camera!

This is SO helpful. You have no idea. I currently have a 60D and I'm just starting out and not too long ago, I was really close to giving up as a photographer. I'm in high school, and there's a girl a grade above me who already has her own business, so everyone pretty much ignores my photography. It makes me feel really down sometimes, because I'm so passionate about photography and I don't get any recognition. Now I know what I can do to get started. Stepping stones. Thank you for this video!

It'd be nice to know how you like to prepare before an event...what kind of equipment you like to bring with you, whether or not you have a mental checklist of photos to take, what you like to ask the bride and groom beforehand etc. I will have one other person shooting photos with me too so any advice on working smoothly with each other during the wedding would be fantastic. Thank you! You are amazing!

OMG i love this video im trying to get out there with my work, Its not the best but im proud of how some of my photography looks i sooo agree with you with capturing natural light i love taking pictures out doors its amazing how you can capture beautiful pictures with a camera your video helped me in so many ways <3 <3

Thanks for sharing I've been doing this for three years and the people who help me make me want to learn more. I know the basics, although I need work on my technical side. I went to school for journalism, and I learned photography on my last semester of college. I'm not a pro pro but nothing says I can't become one. No money to go to school for this but my drive is amazing. Pls post a vid on how to price clients. Everyone i consult has a different answer.

@shutrbug82 Yes I still experience that. Everyone has different answers. But I always stay very open and will try so many different things and keep what I like and not do what I don't like. Its kinda like a recipe that you make yourself right?
