i was thinking about getting this snare or the joey jordison signature snare... im not sure if its just the video but this snare sounds like it had alot if ring to it.
@xLito888x Both snares are very resonant. Keep in mind that steel is easily one of the most, if not THE most resonant type of snare drum shell manufactured. When tuned right, it won't have an overbearing amount of harmonics, but it will always have some. I'd suggest getting the 13 x 6.5, tuning it to a medium tension, throwing on a moongel, and playing it with a rimshot.
@XxStrongDrums1996xX yea i just got my joey jordison snare a few days ago. it sounds almost like a marching band snare (very high) but i like it alot more than my other snare. thanks for the help
