Hi I'm Dutch, China did well by canceling the EU summit. In the past criticism was only one way from the West to East. Now the East is rising we as Westerners get a strong response that we use double moral standards.

That is very good question. Some Tibetan ethanic people are not happy because they are still poor while Han ethinic people can make money in Tibet. Before 1950 Tibet was ruled by Dalai Lama with slaveres and masters. The situation was like Rome two thousands years ago. Poor, no education for people, no right, never know how to do business. Chinese government tried to develop this area with Affirmative Act to minority ethinics (including Tibetans) to give them more oppotunities.
