  • @acavideo This was on a local FOX affiliate, NOT Fox News.

  • OMG

  • wait if you turned off the car while driving, say I was driving at 65 mph and I turned off the car, would that affect any electrical or engine components? thanks

  • Hyper milers are aliens it makes sense now how some people can more than double the EPA estimate

  • 2:08 to 2:30 OmG I tHiNk Im TriPPiN BaLLz

  • his face being eaten = karma from slowing down traffic on his daily basis!

  • heres a better idea, swap out that crappy gas engine for a diesel and I bet 150mpg wouldn't be hard to achieve. Buy an old Mercedes put a hybrid system into it and iI bet you would do better then this and hell that way when the engine is running you can be running off of veggie oil.

  • omg his face is melting

  • wow he must have so much fun driving

  • omfg he was transforming into a lizard.

  • Glad you got a chance to emphasize polite driving. So many hardcore HM people take the attitude that, "By slowing others, I'm really helping them."

  • scary quality!!!

  • lol at 2:20

  • How do you check your MPG? I can't install a Scanguage since I don't have OBD2. Do you Take your miles and divide it by the tank size? What's the way to check and discover your Miles Per Gallon?

  • First, fill up your gas tank. Write down your odometer reading or reset your trip odometer.

    Drive.

Fill up your tank again and see how many gallons went into the tank.

take miles from your trip odometer or figure out how many miles you have gone from the FIRST fill to the second and divide by the gallons it took to fill the second time.

    miles 300 / gallons 10 = 30 mpg.

  • I take the most direct route and drive conservative when I can if no one is around i acclerte mildly but if streets are packed I give it the gas but maintain better than average followling distance this cuts down on the excessive breaking. I average 50 mpg with my prius true that can be considered poor but I don't piss off anyone ever and have speeds of 70mph in there. My rules never speed try to drive 45 most of route i have a 30 mile commute do it in 45 min 40%urban rest interstate speeds.

  • I know this guy from HybridFest '07, you rule Dan! Keep those MPG numbers up! Hope to see you at HF '09!

  • lol at his face at 2:20
