We already knew upon the beginning of the video that they are simply magnets. But that is no reason to state the obvious and discredit tkelleman of his creation. That's like saying Piccasso's art is not art because it can be done by anyone.
The beauty of it is that he did it first and he did it in a way that no one else did.
woah... that's like.... adderall in a non-pill form. And does it change the funness level if it's dangerous? erm... no... fire is fun, knives are fun, guns are fun, etc.
Those are fairly strong magnets... probably molybdenum. I'd be wary about wearing it... given that the hemoglobin in your blood is simply iron oxide, that holds the potential to either make blood pool where you are wearing the piece of jewlery, or possibly worse (as is the case in superconducting magnets) it could pull some of the iron straight out of your body. Serious health risk in my opinion, but that's just my 2 cents.
haha, you need to stop watching movies... and molybdenum isnt magnetic... to itself at least. hemoglobin in humans is C2952H4664N812O832S8Fe4... really man, don't worry about the jewelry. my only question is how there are no poles on the magnets that cause them to not be able to go together in every direction... that was confusing but you know what i mean right?
I'm surprised to see that my comment prompted so many responses. I'm not basing what I said off of movies... I don't really watch movies anyway. I'm basing it off of a discussion I had with my chemistry teacher back when I was in high school. We were discussing how powerful magnetic fields can bend light rays. Perhaps I was mistaken as far as the magnetic element. I do know that molybdenum is utilized in speakers, most typically studio monitor style headphones.
At any rate, my chemistry teacher's discussion also involved the effects of having a very powerful magnetic field near the human body, and one of the effects we discussed was attracting the iron in hemoglobin. I don't claim to always be right, I'm simply passing along information I received a while back.
I did understand what you meant about the polarity of the magnets, and I was slightly perplexed as well. Oh well, I'm not going to over-analyze the video. I don't want to get into an argument with people like soldierlima about this, its simply not worth my time.
this strong magnet is keep away from credit card, driver license card, watch, cellularphone, color tv, videotape, airport metal detector, computer, etc etc,,,

Animefan: HOLY CRAP you are an idiot.
A magnet strong enough to rip the iron out of your blood can mess with FLASH memory.
