The whole piano is a trigger pad, all he has to do is hit the pad and the notes change, whether with one ball or more for chords. He just has to throw the correct amount of balls at the right time anywhere on the pad for the pre-programmed notes to come out. Still kind of cool though.

And if you listen carefully you can see that this doesnt always fit with what hes doing. either hes miming to a prerecorded track or someone else is actually playing another keyboard out of sight. :)

the tune could be pre-sequenced and the notes merely triggered by a touch switch under the piano key mat. Then the only important part for the performer is to remember the sequence. Footswitches could also swich to different sequences when desired.
