  • slumdog gets ruined after halfway through the movie.

  • Love Amir!!!!!

  • he just answered why i didnt like slumdog. and why anil would do anything to get by.anil is the same man who sang at dawoods sons wedding.

  • 3 idiots is the best bolly movie!

  • Love Love Love Love Amir!!!!!!!

  • Aamir has said the correct thing about Slum dog Millionaire .... Abs.. True

  • i so like you aamir...luking forward of seeing ur newest movie

  • @420xp Oh I agree with you! I'm Indo-Canadian and I understand that India has some problems like every other nation, but people don't ever see the good side of it in western media.I feel super privileged to be born in Canada but my indian background shaped me into a good person. I've been there and the people were so kind and the culture is so rich. And the one thing I love is the importance of love and family. People don't get to see the other side of things, only the negative.

  • @420xp India is a third world shit hole with more cell phones then toilets.

  • MR. Bean!!!!!!!

  • i really like him! so much!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • what the heck is "the reference point"?

  • @dinkarilu reference point, in terms of what Aamir is saying, is like the true perspective point. He states he knows the reference point of India because he was born and raised there and knows exactly how India is. So when he watches a different perspective point, in this case Slumdogg, hes able to make the distinctions and mistakes of that perspective. But for those who don't know India and only have Slumdogg as there perspective point they cant make the any difference to the true value.

  • Amir knows wht hez doing....hez best at acting directing also giving the answers..loveee him !!!

  • he wants to say what he feels but i think he ws being very careful how he put it. kudos to aamir. he has been on the receiving end so he knows. very diplomatic answer.! very intelligent and honest.

  • aamir idol...

  • This guy is Great, like he says whatever is true No BULLSHIT.

  • Slumdog millionaire portrayed one single aspect of india, and it did that very well. It was a great film, but using it to form views on india is ridiculous. India is so diverse, it would be impossible to show that in a single film about the slums, middle and upper class indians are so drastically different to what most outsiders would think.

  • @GauravA42 maybe but indian directors that direct indian movies like ra one and many others are even moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee unrealistic and fake than slumdog millionare. Atleast slum dog millionare is more realistic than bollywood movies today, now a bollywood movie is trying to copy italian job...how realistic is that?????

  • @shubroto81 :legal remakes & copies are 2 different thing mate.

Ra one is a shit movie.Just like slumdog.

Both made a lot of money unfortunately.

You've got to know which movies are worth your time.indian movies now are very diverse & there are manyslice of life movies.

Watch aamir's peepli live. great movie.

or oye lucky lucky oye,dev d I could go on.

  • @420xp well said

  • Excellent point made about Slumdog Millionaire. Love Aamir.

  • Its a good point made by Amir,Slumdog millionaire depicts are very small portion of indian life..majority of india is in the middle class which has TV,refridgerators intheir homes and i cant imagine anyone even in slums that dosent have a cellphone now.

The movie depicts what foreigners think of india as a whole..

  • @rahulindofighter .nope.you are a joke and a liar.Middle class in india is small and a third of global poverty exists i india.78% percent of people lie under a dollar a day.rofl.india is not middle class. They did not make up those slums, nor did they have to overdue it.india is growing but still a 3rd world country with problems on an epidemic scale.

  • @laudrup90 Fucked up jackass? Ever been to the largest slum in Mumbai? They might look like slums from outside, but inside people own refridgerators,TV's.bikes and stuff..They earn money and dont pay rent for it..The real poor exist outside cities in villages..In cities most people are middleclass..If you have no knowledge of it,get some and dont embarass yourself here..

  • Slumdog Millionaire was not a bad movie; it was actually well made. However, like Aamir pointed out, Danny Boyle depicted India as something that it is not. I am not saying India is a developed country; it's not. It has slums, poverty and dirt. However, it also has big cities, Imax, Mcdonalds, and everything else you could find in North America. (Well maybe not Taco Bell :P). The point I'm trying to make is, people who don't know India shouldn't picture the whole country like a Slumdog scenario.

  • @9ssgoku the West has seen Bollywood movies which depicts almost always high-life, like hollywood movies & celebrity life is very luxurious. To me,slumdog millionaire was showing the different side of India that is not so luxurious. Also, it wasn't like showing India as a underdeveloped country, the movie was situated around a life of a boy who had a hard life & in that story's point of view, it was necessary but definitely ppl shouldnt think India is a slum nation, it's one of the powerful 1's

  • Lets be frank.. All of India is not like that.. but whatever danny has showed in slumdog is also not a lie.. there are slums like that in many parts all over india but certainly not as big as dharavi in mumbai.. But .. but.. what westerners or foreigners need to realise is there are clean and modern parts too.. look i am a software professional in bangalore and man i say proudly that i am leadin a high standard life.. the locality which i live in is clean , organised and nothing short of modern

  • He is so tactful with that , wasnt he? Smart guy

  • aamir is the best actor in the world...i love you

  • Not all of India is like that, but definitly a good proportion live in those types of absolute poverty, those slums in slumdog millionaire are real slums. Aamir khan was raised in a privleged household, and his viewpoints do appear to be a privelged indian viewpoint, disregarding the british accent of a slum kid and cops speaking english, the cops in india are nonethless corrupt and do engage in abuse, albeit dramatized in the movie perhaps

  • Ummmm yeahh. so are you people retarded. he talks just fine and if you think shahrukh talks any better its probably because he includes a lot more BS in his convos. And when was he repeating shit?

  • @crystalchris94

lol ... bang on ... SRK first needs to go to an acting school and learn the basics..he is just an overactor

  • @crystalchris94 True, Shahrukh Khan adds so much bull shit, in any convo or even when hes fuckin hosting a show or an event LOL and he tries to do the American Accent like i dont hate him or any thing but he tries too hard.

  • His influences are not purely Indian and I get that. At the same time, I think his experiences can be described as a modern-Indian experience and what he "comes out with" IS Indian.

  • Aamir is gud at actin but not at interviews..he seems nervous n is repeating statements!!

  • @amitbharat yeah coz his accent sucks.I am a bigger Aamir Khan fan for movies, but for interviews and speeches,Shah Rukh is articulate and intelligent, well spoken guy.

  • @syas13 aap kese hai
