I am learning myself how to play the pipes! I am still on the practice chanter but since dating back to last september I had no idea what I was doing I think I have made great progress! However the Taorluath the first embellishment in this song is still screwing me up! I am not even sure if I spelled it right but that is how my instructor says it is spelled so Im going with it! However I do have Amzing Grace down from memory embellishments and all!

@d1v4dPwnz Just think of it as 'blowing-your arm-off'. When you are inflating the bag, just ease the presure on your arm (feel it leaving the bag). When you're taking a breath, begin to squeeze the bag to keep air-flow constant. It soon becomes an extention of breathing.

But before you run out and buy the first set of Pakistani junk pipes you can find on the internet, pick yourself up a practice chanter and good learner's book from a recognized institution like the College of Piping. It will run you about $80.00, and you can then decide if you have the ability and desire to drop upwards of $1500 on a set of pipes.
