yeah i love my sol as well, im stock d16z6 minor oil leak, mostly burning it though because of the way I drive, im gonna swap out and super charge whatever engine i choose, but first i need a job HAHA. Sols rule, targa top, speed, its all good.

I got the same kinda prob with mines. Had to replace the suspension and the oil pan because the bottom was fucked. Original owner was a dick lol.

Also the seal is fucked on my distributor so I got oil leaking through there too.

People gotta take better care of your cars!

I fixed my problem. My drain plug was slightly smaller, enough that it would screw like normal but would slowly leak. Replaced it with a new one. That stopped the leak, but I was still burning the oil. So I went looking around and ended up finding out that Mobil 1 Full Syn. is no longer fully synthetic. Oil is rated from 1-5, 1 being conventional and 5 being full race synthetic. Turns out Mobil 1 followed other company's and dropped down to grade 3. Only Grade 5 now is Royal Purple and Amsoil
