@LibertarianBiker The Federal Income Tax belongs to the Treasury... If Texas wants income tax money, let them have their own state income tax. When they secede, their gonna need one. Texas processes 60% of the oil that arrives in the U.S. The tax on all that oil more than makes up for an income tax. After secession, all that beautiful oil will be going somewhere else....

Secession is VERY American. In the early 19th century, the entire modern-day New England came extremely close to seceding. There was no discussion on whether or not they had the right to, much less the act itself being treasonous.
Also, secession is very American due to the fact that it's how this country came to be. Thirteen Colonies

This is the most Stupid idea. Anyone who is in favor of this is downright greedy. Their our people and nations all over the world that would give anything to have what we have. Yes, the US Government is having major issues. So if we texans are so tough why are we running from problems? Once the going gets tough the tough get tougher! not get going.

@donjuandonjuan well most of them were moved into neighboring nations. a formal declaration of war was filed and they could watch our avance on fricken c-span. they had time and warning applenty to move their shit. they could have let the nro in there . they would have blown up the shit and the world would have been none the wiser. so now we have atleast 7 mobile weapons labs, on the looseand un accounted for, generating fissionable material and god knows what else.

Texas would be sucessful as a nation if they did secede.They have a man power, the resources,the size,and ports for world trade to be a sucessful nation among the world.The problem is getting out of the USA.This would have strong opposition from most all the nation and would not go over to well with Fed.But i guess it is possible but favorable as of now.If the usa continues to decline at the current rate, then you could see Texas indepedence in 50-100 years I suppose.God Bless the USA and Texas!

you just have to make sure that: a) they don't count votes themselves and b) they don't install their own guys like bush. if rothschilds could install bush then perry can't be someone unacceptable to them.

the matter should be put on a state ballot or proposition and have voters to decide. since States are breaking away from the US, State residency should be enough for the voters, say those who've had the state's driver's license for at least 4 yrs. this will make the federal reserve and their regime in D.C. obsolete.
