  • obviously you want to spend the most, if not all, your time in the core of the thermal, to do that its best to have a steeper angle of bank than in weaker lift.

Essentially you want to tighten up the circle in stronger lift and open it out in the weaker one, knowing when, if at all, to do this comes with experience and with the actual thermal as they all differ in size, strength and smoothness

  • Why were you taking more bank at the strongest side of the thermal @3:43 ? I am taught to take les bank on the strong sides of the termal and less on the other side. It's an easy way to center in a thermal?

  • @DrDLay I was just being sloppy and not paying attention. :)

  • @bviv Well, I suppose it's quit hard to focus on flying and filming the same time

  • nice, love the camelbak.....
