I was a huge fan of the animated series.

I don't think the live action version was as good but I think it was as good as it could have been.

I just dont think the surreal world of The Tick translates to live action as organically as it does to animation.

I am not dissing this series. This series had great charm and was the best product they could have hoped for I think. I'm just saying why I liked the animated series better.

I remember this show [and the cartoon] [and the comic]. I watched one episode... and then it was cancelled. Then I watched 'My So-Called Life,' and it was cancelled. So I moved to 'Millennium,' and... it was cancelled. So I decided it was best if I not watch TV. I came back in 2005 for 'Deadwood.' Guess what?

Anyhoo. Love Wharburton. First heard him in 'The Emperor's New Groove,' where he is easily one of the best characters [he even got 90% of the straight-to-DVD sequel].
