  • hey annnara you fuck you !!!

    CAMBODIAN FOR EVER!!!

  • omg... why is there so much hate between the thais and khmers in this video???

  • หนุมานน่าเกลียดมาก ตนตรีก็เหมือนเพลงแขก

  • @Extacy2009 khmer is originally is influenced by india we've been trading with them for centuries ..are architectures are from them, are beliefs are from them...the silk and jewelery we use are similar to theres... so yes the music may sound indian but its a damn sure its not from thai..khmer music beats are together ... thais beats isnt so much together...i love thai im half but it bothers me when people say thais this thais that when 95% of the temples has khmer writings on it ..

  • @kora8817

Khmer is originated Indian and native not Indian alone. If Indian alone, Indian would have called themselves Indian not Khmer. Indian were welcome by native, they married together and they exchanged culture. Native Khmer have their own beautiful culture already before Indian arriving. All Khmer Kings wear Peung the origin of native, Bokator is native. So many pictures on every Khmer temple showing the lives of native Khmer living.

  • well u're just jelouse because ur country doesnt have one

  • slutface go look in the mirror dont kill yourself

  • go learn your history bro, not from your king history, but western history. Your king has brain washed you just like the north koreans brained wash it's own people today.

  • yeah ! monkey king :D

  • oh that sucks...

  • Let me input some idea about the word Mac'cha is palii from the Buddhist script meaning fish. But Thai use this word from Khmer, and it's a fact. Just like some other words too, for example Robam, Bar'rek'sot, som'kan, som'rap and meany more... How do I know, because I study that Thai language from a high monk from Surin, Thailand and he is Khmer.

  • They are fantastic and very professional dancers.I think this is Hanuman and Mermaid.I dont know the relevance of music but this is absoloutely terrific!!!Thank you very much for the video.

  • fantastic.Thank you so much.A very talented dancer and good music.

  • hey ive seen this dance on dvd before.

  • Excellent costume! Excellent song and music! I love it!!! Thank you.

  • Excellent sound! Excellent image! Excellent performance! I love it!!! Thank you.

  • You can look at the tail of costume and all costume has gold colour. You can understand this symbol, because her name is" Sovan Macha "( golden fish )

  • True :)

  • macha is khmere for meirmaid and sovan means gold

  • Hi naruto10119, so are you Khmer dancer in USA? I came from Thai classic school from Bangkok. I will know more if you can explain me who is the original during Thai or Khmer dance?

  • the khmer is the original because Kampuchea is an older country in perspective.

  • actually, through some more reasearch, i am not exactly sure of the precise origin of the dance, but it may be thai because many thai dances were brought to the khmer court, as well as some music and major changes in costume durring the regine of king ang doung.anyone correct me if i am wrong

  • Actually there was a harp in Angkorian period but that has disappeared so far...

  • "Macha" in Thai or Khmer is mean fish

  • it has two meanings. one is mermaid and fish. srry, but trust me. i'm a very fleuent khmere speaker.

  • Maybe you can look at the khmer spelling of the word, you can identify the element of the word which would help you identify if it's sanskrit/pali/or borrowed thai words, suradani should look at the thai spelling too, it might help... just a sugestion :)

  • Hanuman and Sovan Macha. Robam Reamkay dance. Thai Ramakain. From Reamkay story. If they can make the custum looks more like a fish.

  • actually bong Sport2006..I've seen some Macha's tail that does look like a fish tail but I personally like this one because it goes well with the costume and the dance movements. It looks more royal and golden I guess...lol

  • u stupid..this story from India..N by the way, khmers don't need 2 store something from thai.. bielive me people.

  • Ok if you have this idea but I try to interest and educate nice culture from dance which I never care where did it come from if it is the good art.

  • Yes you are correct Ramayana that is story from India but we talk about culture of Thai and Cambodia dance.

  • You are an idiot! I said Thai call Reamke` Ramakian, I didn't say Khmer copied from thai. Are your brain on DRUG? you are a chkaer kroum Pteas.low life,,
