  • this idiot died because he assumed that guys sword was one of those cheap un sharpened ones.

  • Its murder if he preformed a jutsu, or had a battle cry as he attacked.

    Like if he said "Atsuiken!"

    Then its murder....only then.

  • @rontayan hahhaha! AMAKAKU RYU NO HIRAMEKI!

  • I'm black but I don't care. If someone was robbing me, I don't care what race he is I have swords too, and I won't hesitate to cut off a hand and cut off his fucking head.

  • is it moral to kill a guy just because he's trying to steal some of the crap in your garage? There were 4 or 5 students (one with a sword) and they couldn't chase him off or subdue him without killing him?

the suspect had a hand cut off and a large cut on his upper torso. Sounds like he saw the strike coming and put his hand up to "block".. either that or the student took a few swings.. it's just wrong to do if you don't have to, the guy was unarmed...

  • The guy was allegedly rushing at the student. I don't know if you've ever been in a situation where you've felt your life was threatened, but I can tell from first hand experience you do whatever necessary to survive.

If that student hadn't struck first and instead got tackled then possible murdered himself, at the hand of his own weapon, there would be people saying the student is an idiot.

The man had no business being in that garage. Is it moral to steal someone's property?

  • Who rushes into a blade, without picking up some kind of weapon? They were in a garage, there would have been something to grab... The guy didn't have a record of violence or drugs, otherwise it surely would have been mentioned.

stealing is not moral but I don't think our laws allow it as an excuse for murder.. unless of course, your a college kid at a prestigious school and the guy that dies is some nobody petty thief. Or perhaps the police felt they had no case. it just sounds fishy to me.

  • well first of all just becuase he has no record of drugs or violence does not mean he has'nt commited a violent crime or has used drugs. And when theres something in the garage and you dont know what it is you only expect the worst . And he didnt kill him for theft, he swung simply becuase there was another human who charged and for all the student knew that man had the intention to kill him though it might not seem rational that he would kill. In that situation theres no time to think.

  • I find it hard to believe he rushed a guy with a sword... I've seen quite a few videos of people confronted with knives or machetes and people tend to run away instead. Besides, the report said the students found the guy hiding under a counter top.. He was trying to hide rather than arm himself.

they should have waited for the police. it was a detached garage, it's not like the guy snuck into his bedroom.

  • @jekylfoot THE GUY DID SNEAK IN HIS BEDROOM. 1 HOUR EARLYER. he hid ion the garrage when the police came. he made the decision to attack. he made the decision to be ther ein the first place. if he was smart he woulda been home taking care of his welfare babies not stealing shit from a white college student

  • Jekylfoot, with your proclivity to make gross assumptions, it's a good thing you aren't involved in this case.

There's no evidence that the victim picked up a weapon nor is it a fact that everyone who "rushed" into a blade does so.

As for not being prosecuted because one is a college "kid" in a prestigious school, there are hundreds of cases, of all strips, where that isn't true either.

Apparently there was sufficient evidence to indicate self defense as a viable explanation here.

  • I don't understand your point exactly, I never suggested the victim picked up a weapon.

  • You're right you didn't. I misinterpreted your statement, sorry.

  • Yes, let's all pity the thief.

When someone breaks into a person's house to steal something, they are making the choice that their life is worth whatever they're after. Donald was flipping a coin for his life or someone else' property. He got heads 29 times. He got a bloody tails this time.

I honestly cannot even begin to understand what goes through the minds of people who see criminals as victims. If I start stealing stuff from people willy-nilly, I damn well better be decapitated.

  • He didn't break into the house, he broke into a detached garage...but, I do understand your position.

  • @jekylfoot

if america had this philosophy, there would be a lot more burglaries.

  • @jekylfoot

The moment someone is willing to break into another person's residence, steal property that isn't his, and on top of that takes an aggressive action against the homeowner. That criminal has no right to his personal security, and that student should be congratulated for protecting his property and perhaps life.

The system had obviously failed in rehabilitating this criminal. He got what he deserved, and I don't pity him nor his family.

  • @jekylfoot

Yes totally morally justified to kill him , when your comming a burglery you have no human rights for all i care i think i person should be legal to torture the burglar, mutlatite him and keep him as property if they want

  • @jekylfoot yes

  • @jekylfoot Because of peopel like you america has a large crimminal rate

  • @jekylfoot You're an idiot. How would those students know if the guy was armed or not? And how did the student know whether using the sword would kill the other guy or not? It's wrong to sit back and question some one else protecting themselves IN THEIR OWN HOME.

  • Don't you have to wonder what the conversation was in those last moments?

    The student did right.

It was time to chop rice (donald rice).

  • @tonyschmoeredux it was prolly something like this "stay there while i call the cops!" "FUCK YOU HONKEY YOU OWE ME!!!" "i said dont move!" "DROP THOSE NIKE'S BEFORE I......*SLASH*" AHHHHHH.... the end.

  • no offense, but the guy in this video talking looks like a serial killer

  • lmao ...nice

  • None taken!

  • I don't think so. They're usually for self defense in situations like this.

  • Haha, I totally agree with you on everything you said.

I had my car window broken into. I fucking was so pissed. It cost $180 to replace. All I can say is Karma. Someday that person is gonna get their ass beat or worse, so I can at least have some comfort in believing that.

  • @jbizzled78 Same here. It cost me ~$200 for the window and ~$350 for the alarm system I got after that. I didn't lose any thing from the car since I never kept valuables in there. I agree with the video poster. I wanted to buy an asp after that so that if my alarm went off I could go out and beat the snot out of the person. Screw calling the cops. A good beating ought to teach these criminals a lesson.

  • Sorry to his family? Screw that! That scumbag deserves what he got. Anyone who feels any sympathy for that guy needs to burn in hell, and that includes his family, if they feel sorry for him.

Overall, I agree with your response.

  • My property is just that - MINE! I worked for it, I earned it and it belongs to me. That gives me every right to defend it from some guy who decided to make a career out of taking that which does belong to him.

The police are not a deterrent ot crime, they're an investigative body. And the courts in Baltimore are just as criminal as its mayor. The Hopkins student did the right thing because in this town, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. I admire his actions and I hope for all the best for him.

  • I am well aware:

(2008) House Bill 1060 passed out of the House of Representatives unanimously by a vote of 136 to 0. HB1060 (Castle Doctrine) would provide civil liability protection for damages from personal injury or death of an individual who enters a persons home or business with the intent to commit a crime.

  • Although HB1060 was defeated in the Senate Judiciary Committee by a single asshole by the name of Senator Brian Frosh. Source: tinyurl com qem7td (add dots and slashes)

  • Although Maryland has a castle doctrine it's not a true castle doctrine. You have no right to stand your ground in Md. The law states you must flee and are only justified in using lethal force if you can't flee and are attack with a "lethal" attack. So using a sword on an unarmed man in a building that you had to walk out to will cause this boy some issues. There was a bill introduced in MD that would allow you to defend your property with lethal force but it never made it to the floor. Md sucks

  • he didnt break a law, maryland has a home is castle policy

  • Not in Baltimore. If you kill someone in your house for self defense, the state prosecution assumes you to be guilty intil they comb through every spec of evidence to that would show otherwise, which is good, but they do it in the goal of finding you guilty rather than just finding out what happened.
