If that's true; that's OK. I had a Norinco 1911that I bought before Clinton had import of them stopped.
Iraq Vet nephew has it now and finds it vastly superior to the M29 back in The Sandbox
Norinco makes good firearms; steel and workmanship=very good.. A lot of owners got them for customization.
NORthern INdustries COrporation IS "The Chi-coms".
It's a proprietary of the Chinese Army originated because they couldn't depend on a central government to equip them;a BIG company.
