@ericharris32 Just a heads up and I know I am a little late on this. Make sure you check if it will work with a laptop. I know the Intensity Shuttle website says that it will not work with any laptop you use. Could they have changed it, possibly, but definitely do the research before you purchase
@Dnator97 i think u need a intel i7 and a fast hard drive: 3 x 7200rpm on raid 0 or just do like me: soon i'm gonna buy a SSD hard drive and good video card
@Dnator97 Now I believe the H67 has the built in USB 3.0 or no? I think that might work, but again I would just use Google or talk to their support to confirm. I don't know if you need an i7. I don't have the SSD either.
okay so I have my 360 connected to HDMI In and then an HDMI Out going to my television. My settings on Media Express are HD 720p 59.94 AVI Motion JPEG just like yours, but nothing is showing up on my TV or in Media Express. Am I doing anything wrong?
@MilleniumGamingX I also have a 58X Chipset. I know I'm messaging a lot, but i want all the info out there because I know that this computer is compatable
@MilleniumGamingX Hey! Sorry it took a while to get back to you. With the black screen issue, I would try unplugging the USB 3.0 from the Shuttle and plugging it back in. Then turn on the 360, and finally open Media Express. I had an issue where you plug everything in and the settings are the same, but I still get the black screen. For some reason my comp believes the Shuttle drivers aren't installed even though they are. Fixed it with the above method.
@mrukat hey thanks for replying. i actually figured it out after trial and error for 4 hours last night lmao. I had to click on log and capture for the screens to show up on my tv/pc the only thing I need to figure out now is how to record my PC screen directly. I have a gforce 570 so it supports HDMI. I plugged the Hdmi from the pc to the IN port and then the OUT to my monitor. I got it to appear a few times, but now I have no clue
@domesticmango In order for you to record with the Shuttle in 720p, the Xbox has to be set to 720p as well. So if the settings don't match you will just get a black screen. You can do 720p, 1080i, and 1080p 30fps with the Shuttle. The 360 uses 1080p 60fps. Some people just render the 720p footage to 1080p to get to the 1080 option on YouTube. As of right now, USB 3.0 needs tweaked a little for 1080p 60fps to work according to Blackmagic
@mrukat saweet thanks mate cause i kept hearing that people couldnt get the hdmi to work at all on the xbox 360 but it looks like the quality is extremly good =D
@domesticmango Yeah, the Shuttle can be tricky for sure since there is no sure way to set it up. It's mainly trial and error with some google searching. I know that PS3 HDMI does not work because of the HDCP so people have been using the PS3 Component Cables to get past that. I plan on making a Wii and a PS3 test video at some point to see how it looks.
@zawette I added a link to the Intensity Shuttle in the info but essentially it is an external capture card that lets you record footage to your computer from a PS3, 360, Wii, video camera, etc. Many people have trouble first setting up the Shuttle and I posted this to show the quality of the video as well as what settings I used to accomplish it.
@TheMaccaHD Thanks for reminding me, I have to add my computer specs. As for your question, I am not sure. Technically it is anything x58 or better. Their support is not that good and it took a lot of research to see if my comp was right for it. I found a thread saying that it wouldn't work with that board, but again, not sure. I know some people sent in a support email giving them the specs they have and asking if it's compatible. I will see what I can find
