Dominicans all try to be the best player instead of playing as a team thats why they lose besides sucking because they all think they the best and they always lose not only here but in olympics everywhere. you should all watch cubans play since its the closest to you thats a real baseball team they all know how to bunt, hit , hit and run.. You noticed that every player in the DR team wanted to homer? lol There will be another Baseball Classic. And I as a Dominican will be looking foward to it. you're out of your mind if u think they didn't take this seriously..that was the problem..that's why they lost. they tried too hard. they took it easy in the first game thinking the dutch team was gonna be nothing, and lost..they were embarrassed..so, they came in the 2nd game trying way too hard and lost again lol..there is a lot of pride in this tournament..the only joke is the usa team..they might as well not even be in it.

you're missing the poiint slick..a lot of good players could have been playing, but instead they didn't, because they wanted to stay healthy for MLB...If it wasn't for that, USA may have had a much better shot. at winning in the finals..point is, the WBC isn't as important to the USA as the rest of the world..sure,the ones who played were excited, but think of who else could have been playing if the WBC was important to them.
