  • the vibrato doesn't change with the tempo. it has to do with her breath support. it should be even, not wobbly, if the breath energy is good. She doesn't have enough breath support and energy which is why her vibrato is wobbly. Also, every person has a different speed of vibrato, some fast, some slower.

  • great version, but what's with the make up?

  • Oronoco, yeah its true. when it comes to virbrato you should learn how to control it or else you'll lose breath and it might even throw you off pitch. I know I'm not one to talk, but virbrato can be prety fast at times but i learn to control, I am a singer/actress in training, I shouldn't be one to talk but I'm just writing this cuz I agree and I know from experience

    -Lala

  • I liked it very much! The way she performed it matches the play and the outfit and everything. Good job!

  • It's aunthentic and it's real and it is very well acted with an attractive vocal performance. Nice legs too!

  • her vibrato is all over the place and she's a bit flat in places

  • Eh, i don't think her voice is strong enough...

  • ha ha look at her face oops inside thought she's alright but she's no mini liza but she looks adowable if you ignore the bottom half

  • PICK UP THE TEMPO!!! Her vibrato is too slow and it sucks the life out of her acting.

  • orchestra is overplaying - intonation sucks too.

  • Poor directing.

  • Gute Show.Aber wer einmal Liza gesehen hat;der aeiß was Amerivan Enertainment ist.

  • WOW!!

  • im sorry but completely lacks the emotion of liza minelli, no comparison

  • Sexy and elegante. Tyler Lord Hamilton

  • Brilliant.

    I love her version.

    Amazing voice.

    X's

  • what's wrong with her eye?

  • wow amazing.. someone get her on broadway!

  • i wish she had the vocal power to finish this song with the pizazz it so desperately needs...

  • God, she is THEE epitome of Sally Bowles for me. So hot, so sad, so exhausted-looking. Love the performance all-around. Dear god. <3

  • agreed, for some reason i dont see liza as attractive, i dont care about the era, she wore too much make up in the movie

  • no way! the woman is gorgoeus, and the only sally bowles there ever will be!!!

  • i agree she has been the most passionate sally bowles but im just saying, i think the way she wears her makeup on stage and in her own life is exactly the same, which shows she thinks of herself as nothing more then her job, which isnt true

  • well i see what you mean, even if i dont agree. i dont think the way someone puts on makeup reflects that much of their inner self but whatever.

i hope this doesnt come across as me sounding ignorant or bitchy, i dont mean it too and i hate mean youtube people so i certainly dont want to come across as one, lol:D

  • i dont think ur bitchy!

its not that black and white, like she thinks shes only good for being eye candy on stage, so thats what she does all the time, but this song shows she wants real love, something different

    am i making sense?

  • I'll bet it sounded and looked a thousand times better in person. Every indication is that it was a knock out performance hindered by live recording on limited equipment

  • Eh.

    Nice voice.

I feel like the meaning of the lyrics were lost on her, though. She was not at all emoting what the song is actually about, and it seemed as though she was so concerned about it sounding technically perfect that the meaning was lost in translation.

Also, I knew every word she was singing because I know the song very well, but if someone had never heard the song before I think a lot of it wouldn't have been understood. Pronunciation and projection seemed to be an issue.

  • Nice voice, stage bad can b better. I, personally, like the ending to be stronger! It really shows all of the emotion that Sally has, listen to Liza Minnelli, she does it perfectly. overall, great job!

  • Sally's costume is the best I have seen for the character in a production. It is the perfect blend of trashy yet covering her. Good costume designer!

  • She's great!

I wish that crappy trumpet player were either better or not as flippin' loud...or both.

    yeah...both would be nice.

  • fierce voice!!!! and wonderful presence.

  • what a nice voice ^^

  • I love this, you sound amazing, and it really helped me when i was trying to learn to sing it. Thanks xx

  • A-mazing!!! I loved your voice, plus the fact you were sexy, sad and hopeful at the same time.

    Congrats!

  • How did you get to put this song in the show? I know both Maybe this Time and Mein Herr are restricted. But lovely job!

  • Um, where'd you hear that? I think your information might be wrong. I just saw a performance of this show on Saturday and both songs were in it.

  • Then it was probably illegal.

  • Actually I just did this show and neither song was restricted. they were both included in the score and script we got form the publisher. we didn't do it illegally.

  • Tams-Witmark both carry the original and revival

  • jk, seriously though lovely voice... not to crazy about the threepenny opera look, but blah

  • I like your voice... give it to me!
