@guitardude4lyfe Hard braking usually will get u drifting, however, i would recommend the e-brake at slow speeds to flick out the rear and apply alot of power to keep the slide straight and not spin out. (Add K7842)

@FoxBody77 man your so dumb, just go in the options and then go at the steering option, then look at the picture of the wheels on top, then select amateur and you will see only the old wheel models highlighted, the wheels without 900degrees...then go on the force feedback selection and you will see only the good wheel highlighed on top , that means that to adjust the old wheels you choose between amateur and pro and for the new wheels you simply adjust the strenght of the force feedback

I haven't played Gran Turismo since it's PSX releases and the last racing game I bought is Forza3. Does GT5 have a clutch button like in Forza3?

@lonewalkerslayer Yes it has a clutch button, you can drift by using a flick, the handbrake, or the clutch button. I can drift with the controller but it does work better with a 900 degree wheel since you can steer left and right much further than the controller will allow

@Einhander1988 GT5 is going to be released 24th november (hopefully). So if you're about to buy GT5P. I would w8 for the full game release.

And GT series are more like car simulators than games. So it makes it more realistic. And to get the full experience of the game you probably want to get a steering wheel :)
