I have been to Liverpool. No-one works and everyone rips off the benefits system. Everyone is a criminal and they speak in a funny Irish-contaminated accent. They think they are special & they hate Mancunians. They hate you if you leave the city to live elsewhere & the streets are filthy. Liverpudlians lose their virginity at a very early age and they are very aggressive. They think they are funny when they aren't and they say they are Scouse not English. Avoid this place like the plague.
@lu4y4pants its the most friendly city you'll ever visit, the liverpool humour is famous throughout the uk. theres a big irish influence here too, especially in the accent, everyone recognises the "scouse accent" its much thicker & stronger than the beatles one.

I lived in Liverpool for 14 years. People are generally friendly, hilarious and nice. The buildings and parks are great and the nightlife is about the finest in the UK. But compared to Shenzhen!? That place is only 30 years old and it's like New York!!! I'm moving there in one week and suddenly big old Liverpool suddenly seems like a quaint little town - which it is in the grand scheme of things.

I am from Poland but I lived in Liverpool for four years, It was wonderful time. People are polite and friendly. The City is unique. I miss Liverpool :(

I live and liverpool but you have to be honest there are bigger and better cities in the modern era. Look at London, New York, Paris ETC Alothough this city has a great feeling to be in like no other. Surpisingly, everyone looks out for eachother. One big Community.

Well, i suppose you could say that, we used to be the biggest and the best. Less so now. Alothough there are "bigger," places i could'nt relly imagine my life outside of Liverpool.

@oneterry I've spent over three years living and working in Liverpool. Even though I'm back home now I miss the Scouseville very much plus I still av me scouse accent like :). You're right fellar, scouse is in the heart not where you live. That's why for some reason I still call meself a plasie scouser :)

As a Glaswegian I have spent many a great night in the wonderful City of Liverpool, in my capacity of coach driver,
I have been made more than welcome in many parts of the City, and indeed have met many a Liverpudlian in Glasgow who loves my home town as much as I love theirs.

A friend who lives there once told me that there is nothing much in Liverpool to see but, watching this video, I think he is very wrong. I am from Aus and I think it looks like a great city.
