In "the Remedy" He only referenced the Eels song in the line "I could use a shot, your novocaine", but the song itself is not about the Eels. And they didn't boot him out. "After a year of touring, Tommy quit the band. In an interview, he stated his dissatisfaction with E's personality, and the loss of the amount of creative input that both Butch and himself had prior to the success of Beautiful Freak."

i saw these guys perform in grand rapids a few years ago. They opened for a perferct circle. these two dill holes were getting up on each others backs and flipping the band off. Then the lead singer flipped them back. They didn't have the pretty bass player though, she must have left the band. Anyway, they rocked it. When A Perferct Circle came on, i almost lost my life in a mosh pit. Tool fans are on another level.
