Good question. Thanks for asking. To prevent puckers around the scalloped edges, you must clip to the center of the Vs between the scallops before turning the unit right side out. Be sure to not clip the stitches. After turning it right side out, work with the shape so the edges are well defined. A warm press can help, but be careful to not flatten the loft in the batting.

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but would the outside (foundation) fabric pucker around the scalloped edges?
