this debate is about Romanian language, and not about Transylvania, Romanian vocabulary has 3 levels, the Dacian words, (about 100) if what the author of this video would be true, this should be the core of the language, but it's not, then you've got the core of the language which is Latin (vocabulary, syntax, etc) and then like you mentioned you've got the third level which is formed of words borrowed from other languages, Slavic, Turkish, Greek, and later on French and English.

this debate is about Romanian language, and not about Transylvania, Romanian vocabulary has 3 levels, the Dacian words, (about 100) if what the author of this video would be true, this should be the core of the language, but it's not, then you've got the core of the language which is Latin (vocabulary, syntax, etc) and then like you mentioned you've got the third level which is formed of words borrowed from other languages, Slavic, Turkish, Greek, and later on French and English.

Dacians never needed it to be romanised... You see, they were already related in a certain degree with Romans. Scientist confirm that ancient Traco-Daco-Ilyrians and ancient Italic tribes (and probably the Celtics too) were related from the very beginning. They come from a common ancestor and differentiate into all this branches but they were fundamentally related. No romanisation was needed for Dacians to become latins! Get it to your head!

Complete Bullshit. The Vlach language came into the Balkans as a consequence of the Crusades in which Southern Italians had conquered the Byzantine Empire and created the Latin Empire. After being expelled, the Latin-Balkan people migrated North into Serbia and from Serbia into Dacia where they intermarried with the Hungarian-Gothic-Slavic-Dacian mix people.
So it wasn't Dacians assimilating into Rome, but rather Italians from the Middle-Ages assimilating into already assimilated people.
