Religion is such a pathetic crock. Men like Pat Robertson need to be ahsamed of themselves. What an exploiting charlatan. I wish there WAS a hell for these sick old men to go to!
@Frannas85 An "account" of things YOU have not witnessed is HEARSAY.
Nobody who WITNESSED all of the wonderful magic that was Jesus' life wrote ANYHTING about it as it happned. Was it not NEWS that a man performs miracles? Why did NOBODY who saw any of it WRITE IT DOWN immediately?
You never answered these charges. All you did was DENY the factual statements I made. You gave NO explanation WHY what I wrote wasn't exactly as I said.
@1234MusicEqualsLife A closet fag in Jesus get-up, with dark dishwater blond roots coming out of his dyed hair and queer babble left over from heroin trips....
yeah, here's a GREAT representative of the Gospel. Robertson is a charlatan, and his guests are butt-kissing ya ya's.
@multitalentino well its a good thing man isnt the one ultimately judging him and that God is. and what God is judging him is what is on the inside, not the outside, as cliche as that sounds. he is doing nothing wrong by dressing that way.
anyway, i noticed you didnt have a response to my last comment? changing the topic seemed to be your approach to trying to sound right.
@1234MusicEqualsLife Patty Robertson judges EVERYBODY who disagrees with his bigotry and self-righteousness. Stop projecting your hate on others! YOU are the problem in this country. You won't accept any blame, but you should OWN the misery you are causing.
If there was a God, He wouldn't crap on you! You need to be ashamed!
Life would be much better without your pathetic religious bull shit!
Keep your Jesus at home, and we'll get along just fine!
@multitalentino haha whaaat? im confused. im not supporting this robertson person at all. im talking about Brian and God. and what hate am i projecting? and the rest of what you said doesnt make sense either :P did you mean to respond to someone else instead of me? cuz idk where youre getting this stuff haha
with a death skull on his shirt hmmmm... would Jesus wear that? I don't think so..I read his book" Save me from myself:" You know i Consider my self a crap Christian because of my demons but if I was declaring my love for God I would hold the satanic attire.
Without God as their cover, religious people would have a tough time selling all of their self-serving evil deeds as acceptable or even noble. In Gods name Christians committed crimes against humanity. They credit God for their selfishness, their greed and even their lack of social responsibility. It's all about giving as little as possible, and collecting as much as they can.
Christianity is a course in narcissism. Religion turns potentially good people into selfish stinkers.
This dude looks like he's on a day-pass from the institution (with the nice men in white outfits stand by just in case). His wife left him? Could it be because he's a homo?
Pat Robertson is the most evil man on television. If there was a hell, thast son of a bitch would be first in line to go there. What a twisted blasphemer and charlatan. A total fraud.
Has a gay person ever demanded of YOU to give up rights? Has a gay person ever mistreated YOU? Has a gay person ever forced YOU to believe how YOU should live your private life?
Who are YOU to demand second class citizenship for OTHERS? Want to live in restricted ways? DO IT! Nobody is running YOUR life for you, so stop sticking your bigoted nose into what's none of YOUR business!
The rich and the filthy rich (those who have always been "comfortable") are the only ones in our society who have not suffered at all during this long and painful "great recession".
Millions have lost their jobs, their homes, their insurance. Many have slipped from middle class to poverty. NOT ONE MILLIONAIRE has suffered, or is suffering, because they are still, by any standard RICH and their incomes have incresed by 27% last year, while overall income has stagnated.
Why do so many Republicans proclaim to be "independents", when they vote Republican in every election? Another way of hiding their inbred hatred for everyone and everything that disagrees with their Jesus Freak, selfishness obsession.
@lionroar224 "busybodylitis" is not a word? It appears, though, that YOU (to whom it was written) understood the meaning perfectly.
Sometimes the context explains what a word means. The context in which you (and I) read the word "busibodilitis" made it quite clear.
Do you deny that you're intelligent enough to "get it", even though it was clearly an invented expression? Just imagine how people felt when they first took in Shakespeare, the greatest inventor of Enlish language words?
@2live2entertain Nope, I still have no idea what the heck that word is supposed to mean. And OH MY GOSH did you just compare that pitiful compilation of gibberish to SHAKESPEARE? I can take people insulting my intelligence and my faith but to insult the greatest writer in the history of mankind... it's unspeakable! And at least I'm not unintelligent enough to have to make up a word that makes no sense and assume the object of the made up word will TRY to understand it. Ludicrous
A millionaire rock star who looks like a freak. Sure he would love to maintain his low tax status, because he doesn't have to work hard for sub-living wages.
It's easy to ask sacrifices only of OTHERS. Millionaires and billionaires (2 of them are in this video) have not suffered AT ALL during this global depression. It's EASY for them to say "stop complaining!".
TAX THE RICH the way they were taxed only 30 or 40 years ago. Socialism? REALLY? That's your best answer? Stop feeding the OBESE!
@multitalentino Taxing the rich only leads to fewer jobs and less money for everyone. It erases small businesses from the map, thus effectively destroying the middle class and leading us on a one-way ticket to extinction. It's Rome all over again. No one ever thinks to learn from history.
@lionroar224 Taxing the rich leads to more revenues, reduced deficit and better social programs. It also leaves money to emply people.
Someone with 10 millions in profits is just as happy as someone with 9 million. Of course those who work exclusively for the "upper 1%" would find bumper sticker slogans to deny this. "Socialism"? Be careful of words you choose. Capitalism is no longer as popular as you think!
Americans are starting to be leary of the 1% lingo. Are YOU?
@2live2entertain But where do you draw the line? What is the logical sum of income that should be taxed more? You know, I don't give a rip about what socialists want. I want America as it was intended. I want to live in a place still built upon the belief that people should be free to be successful and to build a life for themselves without the government interfering. Sorry if my idealism is too much for you to handle I would prefer not being forced to give up money I worked for
@lionroar224 Start by taxing all million dollar plus "earned" by another 3%. Or perhaps 5%? Can someone who just took home 1 million dollars AFTER taxes be just as comfortable with $950.000? That's money he or she can spend anyway they want. Buy a few new Ferraris? Pay cash. How about a new villa by the beach? Cash again!
Where EXACTLY is the problem in your mind? That a millionaire might lose his home? Can't buy food for his family? WHAT does your fight for the 1% REALLY mean?
@multitalentino My problem is that we're taking away more money from people who have earned it simply because they have earned it. Punishing people for making money seems a bit ridiculous to me. Why tax them more than everyone else? I believe in equality. It would help if our government stopped wasting our money though.
@lionroar224 The problem is that we are protecting those who need no protecting, we are enriching those who need no enriching...and to all that we are asking sacrifices and needless suffering of OTHERS.
Is that what you want to defend? The shameless exploitation of the hard working masses....in order to coddle those who have not ever sacrificed or suffered at all?
@thursdaysrecords I don't agree with this whole shared sacrifice in general. I believe that help will come as long as people who can give it aren't afraid of the government. That's the reality at this point. I don't defend anything but liberty.
@lionroar224 You defend your own selfishness and unconditional support of those in a privileged position. You will defend millionaires and billionaires, even if it means ruin to millions of hard working Americans.
You are dishones, uncaring and most of all profoundly flawed character. Sadly most who call themselves "born again Christians" are made of that same cloth. As long as THEY have and THEY are cared for, nothing else much matters to them. Sacrifices are good for OTHERS.
@SynchroTotal I just said I don't agree with sacrifice. I am not dishonest, I just said what I thought. I'm not uncaring, I and my family are involved in charity--but many of the charities we used to donate to we can't afford to support anymore. It's not about having what we WANT. It's getting what we earned and doing what we want with it. Charity should be a choice. We should support those that need help. But giving money to the government doesn't help anyone.
@lionroar224 You're a selfish person, like most "born again Christians". You don't give of your first fuits. You actually prefer giving as little as possible, because YOU are the center of your universe.
You fight for the rights of millionaires to hold on to what they have "earned", but you go crazy when someone suggests that an $8/hour job isn't enough to support a family and wants to raise the minimum wage. You want OTHERS to struggle, as long as it's not you. That's noble?
@SynchroTotal We give of our first fruits. But we don't give it to the government. We prefer giving it to charities who actually do things for people. And I don't want anyone to struggle. Raising minimum wage only causes small businesses to suffer, and I know enough people that work for these business that have been laid off because the government is putting the pressure on people. I speak for them. I've always been generous. But why should we force people to be generous?
Take GOD out of the equasion, and admit that all the evil, all the expoliting, all the mean spiritedness, all the injustice comes from...YOU!
Without God, who endorsed, practiced and embraced slavery? YOU.
Without God, who desperately wanted segregation to continue? YOU.
Who embraces anti-gay laws? Who wants to keep minimum wage low (for OTHERS, of course)? Who acts out all the evils of the human mind? Stop blaming God. It's YOU.
@lionroar224 People who believe in fairy tales shouldn't espouse on economics, or really any of the sciences, period. You've already displayed a complete cognitive dissonance with reality via the 'sky wizard', and the assertion taxing the rich only leads to job loss and 'the collapse of civilisation' is equally hilarious. How do you explain the fact we have exploding profits yet declining employment? Idiot.
@joope666 I'm saying what I think, and I don't give a rip what you think of my religion because it doesn't play into my economics really anyways. And I think you're an idiot for not recognizing that God is all around us, but at least I'm kind enough to not let my personal thoughts affect the way I treat people--even condescending jerks like you. So I will remain as patient as possible and tell you that the declining employment has to do with the new governmental policies.
@lionroar224 Considering you think the physics defying fables in the bible are true, it would not be wise to give much credence to what you 'think'. You say your religion and economics are separate, why then do religious conservatives always push the same economic theories? Because you don't know how to separate your religion from your politics. And saying new policy is the cause of unemployment doesn't make it so, you have to show how, do you understand what it means to 'argue'?
@joope666 Well, then, why are you persisting in insulting me instead of supporting your own theories, hm? So far I don't really care what you think either because you have yet to provide me with anything of interest to think about. And you definitely ARE ignorant if you think every Christian believes the same thing about politics because we certainly do not. And the new policy has left us with quadruple the debt we acquired under Bush. I know what arguing is, which apparently you don't
@lionroar224 My 'theory' is that you are an idiot, of which we have both provided much proof. Why are you deflecting the question/point? Because it's the only trick you got, deflection. You are an idiot or a liar to assert you have somehow kept your religion and politics separate, you are incapable of doing so to the extent I doubt you can even tell the difference.
@joope666 Ooh, you have proof of my intelligence, do you? Yeah. In YOUR opinion. That's no proof. I'm not deflecting anything, and even if I was that certainly isn't a trick. And since you obviously know everything about the way I think I guess you have a point about the extent of my political and religious affiliation. Oh wait! No, you don't know what I think. It's like talking to a ninth grader.
@lionroar224 All you do is deflect from the question/points raised. You are a cookie-cutter conservative, the neurotic black/white morality and (usually) lower IQ's makes it easy to approximate your beliefs. You are;
Anti-abortion.
Anti-homosexuality.
Anti-science.
Anti-evolution/Pro creationism.
Anti-birth control/Pro-abstinence.
Anti-gun control/Pro-gun ownership.
Pro-Iraq war (at least during the buildup, like most of your 'christian' brethren).
@joope666 Pro-life since murdering babies is wrong. I'm not anti-homosexual. I'm anti-scientific conspiracy but any other science is just fine. Geology is interesting for sure. Of course anti-evolution because it's a load of crap. I'm actually pro-birth control. Definitely pro-gun ownership as I am pro-Constitution and Human rights. Pro-defending my country of course. Pro-tax everyone equally.
@brinkfan Don't act like you know what he went through because you don't. I had a similar experience and it's Jesus. Plain and simple. And to me, what I feel and what I hear are pieces of my reality, and I have both felt and heard Jesus Christ.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (KJV
If you truly want to know Jesus he will reveal himself to you. Most of these people speaking hate about Jesus and the Bible don't want to know him because they love their sinful life.
@Bryansuperunknown Not all of them are necessarily sinful (at least not horribly). Even good people can be resistant against Jesus simply because they can't believe in something they can't see and they've closed themselves off from feeling his presence. Therefore they will never feel him and never know that he's real. It's the sad nature of the beast.
Brian, I hope you see this. Stay strong. In this life you WILL have trouble, but Jesus said "take heart, for I have overcome THE WORLD!" Satan is soo pissed off because you turned to God. But God loves you soo much! Stay strong, and keep the faith. Remember, you are no longer of this world. When you are apart of the world, the world loved you, but now, you are dead to this world and alive in Christ. They hated Jesus, and they'll hate you, for a slave is not greater than his master. I love you <3
I am a highly intelligent person with eyes and a brain and I believe God is the savior of the universe and the creator of everything. You don't need eyes to know that germs exist. You don't need to be smart to feel love. So it does not correlate that feeling God's love has anything to do with intelligence or this carnal world. So anyone with a brain should be able to see that your argument is unfounded and very illogical.
This is BS. in a previous interview he said that he found some meth and threw it away, no relapses. This time he says he found some and did it. Whats the real story Brian? So many discrepancies in your stories and interviews.
@RuTHlezz1 Depends on your definition of a relapse. People are inconsistent at times so I never judge someone for it. And sometimes it's hard to admit something like that.
@ROGER459 He looks like the stereotypical representation of Jesus so it's not hard for him to resemble what many people think Jesus looked like. And... your last point makes little sense to me but from what you say... you're just not seeing the big picture. His ministry is poignant because he has been to the top of the charts and is well known. If someone is less well known it's not quite as meaningful I guess. You have to put things in perspective or you're just fretting over facts.
Stop being a wimp.Fieldy changed and he's still playing. It's just a show...and a really good one.You can say no to the dope and play.Than bible bang after the head bang.
@thetrueparkourninja think about this for a second...imagine your in a time where people would sodomize you, kill you, and take your wife and these people were following the old testament God and then all of a sudden out of nowhere this guy comes up telling these people their religion is wrong and actively defying this religion on a daily basis all the while saying he is the son of God they felt like you would feel if people believed a mass murder too be Jesus yeah he was a rebel lol
@serenityluvsgod. Are you fucking kidding me? The guy is still doing something he loves for something he believes in.I am a former addict ,and whatever gets you through is whatever gets you through.
What Mr.Welch is showing is that Jesus and the garbage of this world are compatible. He wears two masks - one of a sincere follower of Christ, the other of a performing clown. With his face lifted up to God, he curses God by his blasphemous metal music. Isaiah prophesied of such, "...they shall curse their king and their God, and look upward" (Isaiah 8:21). What they preach and practice are two different gospels.
He is deceived, and is deceiving thousands! Hell must be ecstatic at this spectacle!
@serenityluvsgod he left corn....he now makes christian music. I appeal to you from now on to do your research before casting judgement or better yet " udge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Matthew 7:1-2
@serenityluvsgod Just trying to figure out how he wears two masks, is it because he has tattoos and long hair instead of being clean cut with a suit and tie. He found a relationship with God not a brainwashing from religion. Religion can be a great thing to help bring us closer to God as long as you dont follow the crowd but instead follow the word of God, then again maybe it's because I have long hair and I'm covered in tattoos but managed to overcome my addictions by the help of God. One love
@serenityluvsgod Tell me, can a good tree produce bad fruits? Can a bad tree produce good fruits? Can evil do good? Only God knows Brian's heart. Jesus said Condemn not and you will not be Condemned. Judge not and you will not be Judged. Brian left Korn. Yes I understand how you are feeling. God warns us of false prophets and deceivers. Brian produces Christian music now. He shares the love, grace, and forgiveness of God through his music. His music is just a tool.
@serenityluvsgod If that is how you feel about Brian then please do pray for him and not judge and condemn him. Jesus said to love your neighbor's and love one another. Jesus is Holy, Love, The Messiah, Christ, God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Alpha and Omega, Great Author and Finisher. Nothing is impossible in Jesus name. Jesus said if you love me then keep my commandments. There are two great commandments. Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Love your neighbor's.
@serenityluvsgod Keep the Commandments. Keep loving. Keep preaching the Gospel. Keep loving God. We are being transformed into his image from glory to glory. If you don't have love then you don't have God. God bless you. All the glory be to God and his son Jesus the Risen Christ. Living God.
@serenityluvsgod Assuming you can demonstrate that music can inherently be blaspemy. In that case how do you decide what genre isn't blasphemous? Isn't blasphemy the product of a tounge that doesn't fear God; I have never heard an instrument speak agains God; more so than a pen; of a keyboard. It is the man who makes music holy or blasphemous by the intentions of their heart
Good for u Brian so great for you to understand all im this world is empty ,all that money is empty, You area good man to work toward good things ,U cant serve two masters my friend I been there wealth, money, but at the expense of a relationship with God .
Do you jesus nerds realize how many times the bible had be rewritten by MANkind and MEN chose what to put it and leave out of their revised bible to best fit their wants and needs,,,, divinity huh? smh jesus freaks smh
@lionroar224 whose we? and read what? get off your high horse and shove your lies down someone else throat, look up the many "deities" that where worshiped YEARS before Jesus was around who have the same story as Jesus, the jesus story is not original, if you want to be useful, go become a martyr for your christ and stop spreading your excrement across the free thinkers of the world. there is nothing more corrupt than the church, like fucking little kids and burning people alive co
I guess its alright with his looks. Goth guys look dark and gloomy to represent darkness. Fieldy here accepted JESUS CHRIST and now hes tryin his best to represent his true master. This is a testimonial Ill always be happy about readin. Forget the past. Start a new life in JESUS from this time.
Haha, lovely, how to become religious: Stay awake for 2 week straight getting stoned out of your mind, go to church, and BAM! feel the fatherly love overwhelm you...Yeah, It was all thanks to God, He didn't get any help whatsoever from meth or anything :P
There are non religous places that will help people with drug, alcohol abuse. This proves nothing except that he went to a place that believe in jesus and god, and as a result now believes what they told him. I know people that got non religious help.
@MaryWaterton You are one of the most deluded people I've seen on this website. People like you place your faith in a nonexistant entity throughout your whole life expecting to be "saved." You have no prove whatsoever that God (or in other people's cases Allah, etc.) exists. And what makes you think that your God is the one that exists and the others don't? There have been millions of gods made up by humans throughout history. It just so happened that Christ became popular because of the Romans.
what a fail attention whore selling books about his burned brain haha
fuck yeah!! talking with the guy who ''predicted'' numerous of times world is going to end, the last time it was in 1982 according to his prophecies. he speaks about Jesus who saved his life and gives a shit about his drug addictions but at the same time ignoring millions of starving children all over the world. nice message asshole!
I am dubious of people like Brian Welch who claim to find Jesus, but their life never changes to reflect it. Even if you ignore the long hair and the tattoos and eyeliner, what about the shirt with the skull and it's message of death and despair? If a person is REALLY saved, their life should begin to reflect it.
@MaryWaterton how in the world do skulls say you arent a christian? he is still very much into the heavy metal life but in a different way. hes playing christian music thats very real. listen to the lyrics. hes so real and he connects with people in a totally different way stop being judgmental, thats less christian than wearing skulls or having tattoos or long hair and eye liner.
@thetrueparkourninja - I perceive from your REBELLIOUS spirit that you another of those Judas-Christians. Being a Christian is not like being a democrat or republican. It requires depth of commitment, a change of lifestyle, and repentance. Perhaps God is still working Brian and you. But so far, no fruit indicative of change.
@MaryWaterton i am rebellious, so was jesus, so was john, so was paul, there is nothing wrong with rebellion, whats wrong is looking down on people (luke 6:27, john 7:24). and judging other people with out just reason (romans 2:1-3). how do you expect to bring any sinner to Christ if you say that they can not be a christian with any sin or anything in their life that doesn't look perfect, everyone has some kind of skeleton in their closet, some jsut are up front about theirs, like me and head!
@thetrueparkourninja - Well you may have a small point on Roman 2:1-3. After all, he wears makeup and so do I. But other than that, you don't know what you are talking about.
@MaryWaterton how was jesus not rebellious? he completely upset the social norm. he touched lepers, hung out with tax collectors and prostitutes, and turned the money changing tables in the temple courts. he challenged the Pharisees and saduscees, and he up turned a whole religion and a whole nation, he drew up such a movement that caesar him self noticed and then made friends with an enemy (pilate) to bring him down. christianity is rebellion from the social norm.
@thetrueparkourninja Jesus was never rebellious. He never sinned once. Are you also going to accuse God of being rebellious for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah?
@SoldierOfChrist110 Rebellious in the eyes of the people of the time, perhaps. He certainly upset the Pharisees and continues to change my perspective on how to treat people by his example.
I don't see much rebellion in comparison to its father religion of Judaism, sure you might have left out a bit of the whole Gentiles are less worthy of life stuff, but there is still the heavy influence of selfless deity worship that can be very negative on mankind. Not to mention the Christian Crusaders who never left, and still are clearly at war with Islam making it seem pretty damn anti-rebellion to me.
@clipsryan jesus never stoned anyone, in fact he stopped a lady accused of adultery from being stoned he said to the people who were about to stone the lady those of you who have not sinned cast the first stone, please dont confuse jesus with religion if you ever read the 4 gospels you would realize this, i hope you take some time to find out who jesus really is and what religion really is, i myself thought exactly like you did then sought the truth.
@reeceagodwin His "father" ordered people to stone sinners and sense he's basically his own father, he's guilty. If he existed at all, he was just a passive man during an ignorant time in a violent location. Religion is the fellowship of superstitious beliefs backed up by faith and dogma. This includes christianity. Also, the admiration of a HUMAN isn't a religion unless you apply superstition and rediculous doctrine. The cruciFICTION was not a sacrifice. It was used to excuse god's murders.
@clipsryan Except we have proof that God exists and it is a known fact that Jesus exists. Christianity is backed up by faith, yes, and "dogma," yes, but it is also backed up by the overwhelming truth that is God. And the laws that governed the Jews at the time were designed to keep them holy. They were easily led astray so God gave them harsh(ish) rules to keep them from straying since His plan involved them. You can't assume you understand anything about God. No one can.
@lionroar224 No proof of god or that jesus was anything but a man. Nothing backed up by truth needs faith. Faith and truth don't mix. Faith is the same thing that makes kids believe in Santa (no harm there) regardless of the overwhelming evidence against his current existence like toy stores and security systems for the house. Harsh rules? More like murderous immoral and completely unecessary laws that many countries didn't need. Understand a nonexistent partial being? Ofcourse not.
@thetrueparkourninja Have you ever heard of Mithra or Horus? They have nearly the same story as Jesus and were around centuries before. Christianity was simply a continuation of those in a different place.
@lionroar224 How do you know that? I also wasn't talking about God, I was talking about Jesus. According to the bible, Jesus is not God. Jesus is the son of God. Also, in another comment, you said that nobody can assume that they understand anything about God. This means that what you said has no basis in reality and can therefore be discarded. Is there anything else you would like to try and challenge me with?
@TheWhiteShadow42 Yes there is since you're still wrong. When talking about Jesus you are also talking about God because they are part of the same unit. Like a family. God encompasses Father, Son, and Spirit. In my reply to your comment I was referring to the Trinity because my statement was true for all of them. And actually what I said about no one being able to understand God correlates with what I said to you. You can paste a label on God, especially one like "nearly."
@lionroar224 You just agreed with me, in case you didn't realize that. Also, nearly isn't a label. When I used that word, I was speaking about the vast similarities between Horus and Jesus, not putting a label on him. Try again.
@TheWhiteShadow42 That was a typo. And the abstract concept of labeling is what I was referring to. Perhaps "limiting" would be a better word. Perhaps not. We can't say God is nearly this or nearly that. He is what he is, and saying anything else is in a fashion limiting Him to our human level. Either way, Jesus is literally nothing like Horus. They aren't even remotely alike.
@lionroar224 They are almost exactly alike. I would like to send you to a link, but YouTube doesn't allow that. So, I will send you to Google, search "horus and jesus parallels" and choose the second choice. It lists 46 parallels. Also, you said that Jesus is a part of God. Jesus was supposedly a real person. This in and of itself "limits" God to our human level. Stop contradicting yourself. Try again.
@TheWhiteShadow42 I love how you tell me to stop contradicting myself but you point me to a site with a list of similarities... and the explanations of why they do not actually exist and therefore have no merit as an argument of Jesus "deriving" from Horus. And Jesus limited himself to human flesh and made a choice to live out his life as a human but he was not confined by anything but his will. He "stooped" to our level by choice so that he could save us. Try again XP
"I love how you tell me to stop contradicting myself but you point me to a site with a list of similarities... and the explanations of why they do not actually exist and therefore have no merit as an argument of Jesus "deriving" from Horus"
Could you possibly reword that so it actually makes some sense?
@TheWhiteShadow42 You told me to check out this site and I did and it had the list of similarities as well as an explanation of how they're complete rubbish. Is that plain enough for you?
@MaryWaterton *chuckles* You amuse me simply because your viewpoint is slightly archaic. We all express ourselves differently. Brian here may not be putting on the best face for Christians as far as representing his faith, but he does things his own way and that's what a relationship with Jesus should be. Personal. There's nothing wrong with skulls (even if they are a little creepy) and there's NOTHING wrong with using a hard core type of music to preach God's message.
no he didn't surprise heavy metal fans, heavy metal fans don't listen to korn or give a shit about nu-scene rubbish. And as for Pat, well he deserves cancer, a long slow cancerous death.
@kingsalami80 you must be proud of yourself now for saying that huh? lol oh how glorious have you both SHAME to JESUS my friend. Is that what you've learned from attending church and reading the life of Christ through the bible? (If you really do read the bible).. to tell a co-Believer ( who just happen to be against the ways of most modern church) SEE YOU IN HELL FROM HEAVEN? is that what you have Learned brother? so you think Jesus is Proud of you now? if so bro, i pray for you.
@BlackSpade2013 Amen to that. People often ask me why I "chose" Christianity out of the thousands of religions. It's difficult to explain to them that God called me, I didn't choose Him. However to be fair I answer why I see Christianity as distinct from all others. In all other beliefs it's about humans trying to reach up to the divine (or achieve divine status), and to earn his favor through deeds. Christianity is the only one where God comes down to us, sacrificing Himself so that we may live
@ansaz14 No, I thinking, rational mind is salvation for us all. Jesus was a cool guy that really did exist and died for a good cause, but even he didn't think he was god. No god. Never was. It's ok to reject these ancient religious ideals and try to understand why things really exist. You won't burn forever in a fiery lake of doom if you do so either. Don't be afraid. JAH RASTAFARI KING SELASSIE I DA 1ST
@BlackSpade2013 It's all emotional. There's nothing consistant about believing in a dead jew and deciding to live. Millions of people get off bad habits because they want to live. They get scared they'll do it again so they ask the socalled all powerful one to help them. This is a direct insult to the doctors that actually treat addictions and Pat Robertson is a fucking bigot.
The tragedy is Brian has swapped one addiction for another (religion) and it will probably cause him to crash even harder than before. Primitive religion may have been intended to help build one's connection to the world/universe, but modern religion is built to separate and control.
@lionroar224 Whether you consider humanity in 'better' or 'worse' shape is partly perspective, collectively we (or at least our children) are worse off given the destruction of the environment. Individually, at least in the 1st world we have much longer lifespans and less repression. I would say much of the (self) destructive behaviour humanity is exhibiting today is a result of millenia of religious repression and hatred, your assertion is bullshit.
@joope666 Actually most of the harm in the world is coming from hatred towards religion and personal beliefs. The majority of Christians have absolutely no hatred towards anyone, and don't try repressing anyone, but people like you with your ignorant generalizations constantly batter and beat Christians into prejudice against you by claiming you know what we're like when you certainly DO NOT. And religion is certainly more accepting than it used to be--other religions mostly.
@lionroar224 Most of the harm in the world is coming from hatred towards religion and personal beliefs, FROM people with religious beliefs. Show me where atheists are generating widespread violence today, you can't because they aren't. Contrary to your dumbfuck misasumptions, I actually have a lot of experience with 'christians', I went to their schools as a kid and reality is they are typically more hostile and oppressive than the general population.
@joope666 Sure. Well, I also know many Christians, and I don't know anyone who is judgmental and oppressive so I guess you just fell into the wrong group, huh? And don't bring abusive sex into this because you're just spreading violence via the internet. You can insult and yell at me all you want but the reality is you only have a misguided perception of a group of people and you're only looking for the answers you want to find. 1 Timothy 4.
@lionroar224 The only extent to which it could be said I am spreading violence, is the extent to which truth provokes a violent response from people like you. You no doubt grew up in a christian environment, were conditioned as such, and thus probably are no longer capable of even recognising the oppression upon you. Tell me again, where are atheists spreading violence in the world today? It is almost invariably religious nuts, you are full of shit pal.
@joope666 Too bad I'm not the one swearing and abusing other people without first taking time to examine their arguments thoroughly and with an open mind. You are "fighting" and I am attempting to "argue" or "debate" a topic. And I did grow up a Christian, and I find nothing oppressing about the love Jesus constantly surrounds me in every day of my life. And yes there are many atheists spreading violence, as many as there are Christians. Many non-religious folks discriminate. A lot.

Millions have lost their jobs, their homes, their insurance. Many have slipped from middle class to poverty. NOT ONE MILLIONAIRE has suffered, or is suffering, because they are still, by any standard RICH and their incomes have incresed by 27% last year, while overall income has stagnated.

A millionaire rock star who looks like a freak. Sure he would love to maintain his low tax status, because he doesn't have to work hard for sub-living wages.
It's easy to ask sacrifices only of OTHERS. Millionaires and billionaires (2 of them are in this video) have not suffered AT ALL during this global depression. It's EASY for them to say "stop complaining!".
TAX THE RICH the way they were taxed only 30 or 40 years ago. Socialism? REALLY? That's your best answer? Stop feeding the OBESE!
multitalentino 2 weeks ago
@multitalentino Taxing the rich only leads to fewer jobs and less money for everyone. It erases small businesses from the map, thus effectively destroying the middle class and leading us on a one-way ticket to extinction. It's Rome all over again. No one ever thinks to learn from history.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 Taxing the rich leads to more revenues, reduced deficit and better social programs. It also leaves money to emply people.
Someone with 10 millions in profits is just as happy as someone with 9 million. Of course those who work exclusively for the "upper 1%" would find bumper sticker slogans to deny this. "Socialism"? Be careful of words you choose. Capitalism is no longer as popular as you think!
Americans are starting to be leary of the 1% lingo. Are YOU?
2live2entertain 2 weeks ago 2
@2live2entertain But where do you draw the line? What is the logical sum of income that should be taxed more? You know, I don't give a rip about what socialists want. I want America as it was intended. I want to live in a place still built upon the belief that people should be free to be successful and to build a life for themselves without the government interfering. Sorry if my idealism is too much for you to handle I would prefer not being forced to give up money I worked for
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 Start by taxing all million dollar plus "earned" by another 3%. Or perhaps 5%? Can someone who just took home 1 million dollars AFTER taxes be just as comfortable with $950.000? That's money he or she can spend anyway they want. Buy a few new Ferraris? Pay cash. How about a new villa by the beach? Cash again!
Where EXACTLY is the problem in your mind? That a millionaire might lose his home? Can't buy food for his family? WHAT does your fight for the 1% REALLY mean?
multitalentino 2 weeks ago 2
@multitalentino My problem is that we're taking away more money from people who have earned it simply because they have earned it. Punishing people for making money seems a bit ridiculous to me. Why tax them more than everyone else? I believe in equality. It would help if our government stopped wasting our money though.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 The problem is that we are protecting those who need no protecting, we are enriching those who need no enriching...and to all that we are asking sacrifices and needless suffering of OTHERS.
Is that what you want to defend? The shameless exploitation of the hard working masses....in order to coddle those who have not ever sacrificed or suffered at all?
27% pay increase for millionaires.
Wage freeze or drop for everyone else.
You are defendng THAT? WHY?
thursdaysrecords 2 weeks ago
@thursdaysrecords I don't agree with this whole shared sacrifice in general. I believe that help will come as long as people who can give it aren't afraid of the government. That's the reality at this point. I don't defend anything but liberty.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 You defend your own selfishness and unconditional support of those in a privileged position. You will defend millionaires and billionaires, even if it means ruin to millions of hard working Americans.
You are dishones, uncaring and most of all profoundly flawed character. Sadly most who call themselves "born again Christians" are made of that same cloth. As long as THEY have and THEY are cared for, nothing else much matters to them. Sacrifices are good for OTHERS.
SynchroTotal 2 weeks ago
@SynchroTotal I just said I don't agree with sacrifice. I am not dishonest, I just said what I thought. I'm not uncaring, I and my family are involved in charity--but many of the charities we used to donate to we can't afford to support anymore. It's not about having what we WANT. It's getting what we earned and doing what we want with it. Charity should be a choice. We should support those that need help. But giving money to the government doesn't help anyone.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 You're a selfish person, like most "born again Christians". You don't give of your first fuits. You actually prefer giving as little as possible, because YOU are the center of your universe.
You fight for the rights of millionaires to hold on to what they have "earned", but you go crazy when someone suggests that an $8/hour job isn't enough to support a family and wants to raise the minimum wage. You want OTHERS to struggle, as long as it's not you. That's noble?
SynchroTotal 2 weeks ago
@SynchroTotal We give of our first fruits. But we don't give it to the government. We prefer giving it to charities who actually do things for people. And I don't want anyone to struggle. Raising minimum wage only causes small businesses to suffer, and I know enough people that work for these business that have been laid off because the government is putting the pressure on people. I speak for them. I've always been generous. But why should we force people to be generous?

@lionroar224 People who believe in fairy tales shouldn't espouse on economics, or really any of the sciences, period. You've already displayed a complete cognitive dissonance with reality via the 'sky wizard', and the assertion taxing the rich only leads to job loss and 'the collapse of civilisation' is equally hilarious. How do you explain the fact we have exploding profits yet declining employment? Idiot.
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 I'm saying what I think, and I don't give a rip what you think of my religion because it doesn't play into my economics really anyways. And I think you're an idiot for not recognizing that God is all around us, but at least I'm kind enough to not let my personal thoughts affect the way I treat people--even condescending jerks like you. So I will remain as patient as possible and tell you that the declining employment has to do with the new governmental policies.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 Considering you think the physics defying fables in the bible are true, it would not be wise to give much credence to what you 'think'. You say your religion and economics are separate, why then do religious conservatives always push the same economic theories? Because you don't know how to separate your religion from your politics. And saying new policy is the cause of unemployment doesn't make it so, you have to show how, do you understand what it means to 'argue'?
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 Well, then, why are you persisting in insulting me instead of supporting your own theories, hm? So far I don't really care what you think either because you have yet to provide me with anything of interest to think about. And you definitely ARE ignorant if you think every Christian believes the same thing about politics because we certainly do not. And the new policy has left us with quadruple the debt we acquired under Bush. I know what arguing is, which apparently you don't
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 My 'theory' is that you are an idiot, of which we have both provided much proof. Why are you deflecting the question/point? Because it's the only trick you got, deflection. You are an idiot or a liar to assert you have somehow kept your religion and politics separate, you are incapable of doing so to the extent I doubt you can even tell the difference.
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 Ooh, you have proof of my intelligence, do you? Yeah. In YOUR opinion. That's no proof. I'm not deflecting anything, and even if I was that certainly isn't a trick. And since you obviously know everything about the way I think I guess you have a point about the extent of my political and religious affiliation. Oh wait! No, you don't know what I think. It's like talking to a ninth grader.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago

Anti-science.
Anti-evolution/Pro creationism.
Anti-birth control/Pro-abstinence.
Anti-gun control/Pro-gun ownership.

Matthew 7:1-2
jonatain 2 months ago
@serenityluvsgod Just trying to figure out how he wears two masks, is it because he has tattoos and long hair instead of being clean cut with a suit and tie. He found a relationship with God not a brainwashing from religion. Religion can be a great thing to help bring us closer to God as long as you dont follow the crowd but instead follow the word of God, then again maybe it's because I have long hair and I'm covered in tattoos but managed to overcome my addictions by the help of God. One love

You have no prove whatsoever that God (or in other people's cases Allah, etc.) exists. And what makes you think that your God is the one that exists and the others don't? There have been millions of gods made up by humans throughout history. It just so happened that Christ became popular because of the Romans.

MaryWaterton 4 months ago
@MaryWaterton how in the world do skulls say you arent a christian? he is still very much into the heavy metal life but in a different way. hes playing christian music thats very real. listen to the lyrics. hes so real and he connects with people in a totally different way stop being judgmental, thats less christian than wearing skulls or having tattoos or long hair and eye liner.
thetrueparkourninja 4 months ago
@thetrueparkourninja - I perceive from your REBELLIOUS spirit that you another of those Judas-Christians. Being a Christian is not like being a democrat or republican. It requires depth of commitment, a change of lifestyle, and repentance. Perhaps God is still working Brian and you. But so far, no fruit indicative of change.
MaryWaterton 4 months ago
@MaryWaterton i am rebellious, so was jesus, so was john, so was paul, there is nothing wrong with rebellion, whats wrong is looking down on people (luke 6:27, john 7:24). and judging other people with out just reason (romans 2:1-3). how do you expect to bring any sinner to Christ if you say that they can not be a christian with any sin or anything in their life that doesn't look perfect, everyone has some kind of skeleton in their closet, some jsut are up front about theirs, like me and head!
thetrueparkourninja 3 months ago
@thetrueparkourninja - Well you may have a small point on Roman 2:1-3. After all, he wears makeup and so do I. But other than that, you don't know what you are talking about.
MaryWaterton 3 months ago
@MaryWaterton how was jesus not rebellious? he completely upset the social norm. he touched lepers, hung out with tax collectors and prostitutes, and turned the money changing tables in the temple courts. he challenged the Pharisees and saduscees, and he up turned a whole religion and a whole nation, he drew up such a movement that caesar him self noticed and then made friends with an enemy (pilate) to bring him down. christianity is rebellion from the social norm.
thetrueparkourninja 3 months ago 21
@thetrueparkourninja Jesus was never rebellious. He never sinned once. Are you also going to accuse God of being rebellious for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah?
SoldierOfChrist110 3 months ago
@SoldierOfChrist110 Rebellious in the eyes of the people of the time, perhaps. He certainly upset the Pharisees and continues to change my perspective on how to treat people by his example.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@thetrueparkourninja
Rebellion from the social norm, how?
I don't see much rebellion in comparison to its father religion of Judaism, sure you might have left out a bit of the whole Gentiles are less worthy of life stuff, but there is still the heavy influence of selfless deity worship that can be very negative on mankind. Not to mention the Christian Crusaders who never left, and still are clearly at war with Islam making it seem pretty damn anti-rebellion to me.
NeutralExistence 2 months ago
@thetrueparkourninja Yes, stoning children and gays is rebellion from the social norm.
clipsryan 1 month ago
@clipsryan jesus never stoned anyone, in fact he stopped a lady accused of adultery from being stoned he said to the people who were about to stone the lady those of you who have not sinned cast the first stone, please dont confuse jesus with religion if you ever read the 4 gospels you would realize this, i hope you take some time to find out who jesus really is and what religion really is, i myself thought exactly like you did then sought the truth.
reeceagodwin 1 month ago 2
@reeceagodwin His "father" ordered people to stone sinners and sense he's basically his own father, he's guilty. If he existed at all, he was just a passive man during an ignorant time in a violent location. Religion is the fellowship of superstitious beliefs backed up by faith and dogma. This includes christianity. Also, the admiration of a HUMAN isn't a religion unless you apply superstition and rediculous doctrine. The cruciFICTION was not a sacrifice. It was used to excuse god's murders.
clipsryan 1 month ago
@clipsryan Except we have proof that God exists and it is a known fact that Jesus exists. Christianity is backed up by faith, yes, and "dogma," yes, but it is also backed up by the overwhelming truth that is God. And the laws that governed the Jews at the time were designed to keep them holy. They were easily led astray so God gave them harsh(ish) rules to keep them from straying since His plan involved them. You can't assume you understand anything about God. No one can.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 No proof of god or that jesus was anything but a man. Nothing backed up by truth needs faith. Faith and truth don't mix. Faith is the same thing that makes kids believe in Santa (no harm there) regardless of the overwhelming evidence against his current existence like toy stores and security systems for the house. Harsh rules? More like murderous immoral and completely unecessary laws that many countries didn't need. Understand a nonexistent partial being? Ofcourse not.
clipsryan 2 weeks ago
@thetrueparkourninja The problem is that Jesus didn't exist. Therefor something made up can't be anything.
Yesiamblind 1 month ago
@Yesiamblind But he does exist. No historian would disclaim that because we have evidence from several different cultures.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@thetrueparkourninja Have you ever heard of Mithra or Horus? They have nearly the same story as Jesus and were around centuries before. Christianity was simply a continuation of those in a different place.
TheWhiteShadow42 3 weeks ago
@TheWhiteShadow42 Pfft nearly. Nearly doesn't mean anything in regards to God.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago in playlist I Am Second
@lionroar224 How do you know that? I also wasn't talking about God, I was talking about Jesus. According to the bible, Jesus is not God. Jesus is the son of God. Also, in another comment, you said that nobody can assume that they understand anything about God. This means that what you said has no basis in reality and can therefore be discarded. Is there anything else you would like to try and challenge me with?
TheWhiteShadow42 2 weeks ago
@TheWhiteShadow42 Yes there is since you're still wrong. When talking about Jesus you are also talking about God because they are part of the same unit. Like a family. God encompasses Father, Son, and Spirit. In my reply to your comment I was referring to the Trinity because my statement was true for all of them. And actually what I said about no one being able to understand God correlates with what I said to you. You can paste a label on God, especially one like "nearly."
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 I meant can't, sorry for the typo.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 You just agreed with me, in case you didn't realize that. Also, nearly isn't a label. When I used that word, I was speaking about the vast similarities between Horus and Jesus, not putting a label on him. Try again.
TheWhiteShadow42 2 weeks ago
@TheWhiteShadow42 That was a typo. And the abstract concept of labeling is what I was referring to. Perhaps "limiting" would be a better word. Perhaps not. We can't say God is nearly this or nearly that. He is what he is, and saying anything else is in a fashion limiting Him to our human level. Either way, Jesus is literally nothing like Horus. They aren't even remotely alike.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 They are almost exactly alike. I would like to send you to a link, but YouTube doesn't allow that. So, I will send you to Google, search "horus and jesus parallels" and choose the second choice. It lists 46 parallels. Also, you said that Jesus is a part of God. Jesus was supposedly a real person. This in and of itself "limits" God to our human level. Stop contradicting yourself. Try again.
TheWhiteShadow42 2 weeks ago

TheWhiteShadow42 2 weeks ago
@TheWhiteShadow42 You told me to check out this site and I did and it had the list of similarities as well as an explanation of how they're complete rubbish. Is that plain enough for you?
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@MaryWaterton *chuckles* You amuse me simply because your viewpoint is slightly archaic. We all express ourselves differently. Brian here may not be putting on the best face for Christians as far as representing his faith, but he does things his own way and that's what a relationship with Jesus should be. Personal. There's nothing wrong with skulls (even if they are a little creepy) and there's NOTHING wrong with using a hard core type of music to preach God's message.

@BlackSpade2013 It's all emotional. There's nothing consistant about believing in a dead jew and deciding to live. Millions of people get off bad habits because they want to live. They get scared they'll do it again so they ask the socalled all powerful one to help them. This is a direct insult to the doctors that actually treat addictions and Pat Robertson is a fucking bigot.
clipsryan 1 month ago
Wow, I can't believe Jesus agreed to be on Pat Robertson!
timothyfleet 4 months ago
The tragedy is Brian has swapped one addiction for another (religion) and it will probably cause him to crash even harder than before. Primitive religion may have been intended to help build one's connection to the world/universe, but modern religion is built to separate and control.
joope666 4 months ago
@joope666 And how's that working for the world, hmmmm? We're no better off than before. Worse, actually.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 Whether you consider humanity in 'better' or 'worse' shape is partly perspective, collectively we (or at least our children) are worse off given the destruction of the environment. Individually, at least in the 1st world we have much longer lifespans and less repression. I would say much of the (self) destructive behaviour humanity is exhibiting today is a result of millenia of religious repression and hatred, your assertion is bullshit.
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 Actually most of the harm in the world is coming from hatred towards religion and personal beliefs. The majority of Christians have absolutely no hatred towards anyone, and don't try repressing anyone, but people like you with your ignorant generalizations constantly batter and beat Christians into prejudice against you by claiming you know what we're like when you certainly DO NOT. And religion is certainly more accepting than it used to be--other religions mostly.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 Most of the harm in the world is coming from hatred towards religion and personal beliefs, FROM people with religious beliefs. Show me where atheists are generating widespread violence today, you can't because they aren't. Contrary to your dumbfuck misasumptions, I actually have a lot of experience with 'christians', I went to their schools as a kid and reality is they are typically more hostile and oppressive than the general population.
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 Sure. Well, I also know many Christians, and I don't know anyone who is judgmental and oppressive so I guess you just fell into the wrong group, huh? And don't bring abusive sex into this because you're just spreading violence via the internet. You can insult and yell at me all you want but the reality is you only have a misguided perception of a group of people and you're only looking for the answers you want to find. 1 Timothy 4.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@lionroar224 The only extent to which it could be said I am spreading violence, is the extent to which truth provokes a violent response from people like you. You no doubt grew up in a christian environment, were conditioned as such, and thus probably are no longer capable of even recognising the oppression upon you. Tell me again, where are atheists spreading violence in the world today? It is almost invariably religious nuts, you are full of shit pal.
joope666 2 weeks ago
@joope666 Too bad I'm not the one swearing and abusing other people without first taking time to examine their arguments thoroughly and with an open mind. You are "fighting" and I am attempting to "argue" or "debate" a topic. And I did grow up a Christian, and I find nothing oppressing about the love Jesus constantly surrounds me in every day of my life. And yes there are many atheists spreading violence, as many as there are Christians. Many non-religious folks discriminate. A lot.
lionroar224 2 weeks ago
@joope666 We Christians have pretty much always
