Okay. I'm really getting fed up with these counterproductive statements about how much Knight Rider is "ruined" because of the choice made to place KITT (who, by the way, isn't the actual original KITT to begin with) in a Mustang. I agree that Mustangs aren't the greatest cars ever... not even close. However, we need to learn to keep an open mind- to give things a chance. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but you don't need to force down others' throats.

@thesparxalchemist do you know if they cancelled this show? i used to have a job where i worked everytime it came on. then i heard rumors they cancelled it. Is this true? i loved the old show, and was really excited to see they were bringing it back.

Unfortunately, it's been "canned", yes. NBC doesn't prefer to use the term "cancelled" but for all intended purposes, it has been, I hate to say.

What was aired is still available on iTunes and there should be a DVD out as well! At least they granted the viewers that commodity. :]

It doesn't matter. There are tons of other vehicles out there that look like the Trans-Am but are more modern. They look a hell of a lot more like the original KITT then this new piece of crap Mustang design.

I would love if the new KITT was a Trans Am, all black, with the stile that the old model had, but a think we should give a change to this new car. It has the looks of what a great car these days should be. For me the car isn´t "finish" yet. We are only going to see the "real" dash and scanner, for example, when the film goes on air

They shoulda went with a 2001 model Firebird, okay yeah, Pontiac killed them off, but what's stopping them from just getting an old one? There's plenty around carlots. Even if they had to use CGI in order to do the stunts without having to trash a whole fleet of Firebirds atleast it would be better than having that fugly ass Mustang be KITT. The scanner doesn't even look right, and Analog Dash? Did these people even bother to watch the original show before making a remake?
