  • Other than just having to Grunge singers Pearl Jam and Creed are very different. I Like both and if you listen to both of them enough they both have their special sound. Creed didn't copy anybody. I've never heard any band that could match there sound

  • wow! old video! no signature prs : ( but great performance anyways! love this song

  • Mark - Shirt like a PIMP :D

    Play LP like boss :D

  • Brian marshall, the best and one of the most underated bass players, its a damn shame.

  • Tremonti with hair!!

  • som foda demais!!! melhor apresentação do Creed pra mim disparada!

  • Can you say higher then a kite lol

  • Honestly, what's so bad about this band? Watch this video, and I just see a great, American band.

  • that goldtop deserves better tone and guitarist...

  • @ale882xxx Yea...no. Mark's talent is way more than that shitty Gibson deserves. However, his Signature PRS is a guitar worthy of his skill. Gibson, quite frankly, sucks. Fender and PRS are great guitars.

  • @92796Apollo it's just your opinion....quite questionable i think...Gibson is like Ferrari...maybe not te best car ever made in terms of pure performance, but it's THE car, it's "where alla begins". Fender or PRS are very good "Porsche or Aston Martin", but not a Ferrari...anyway, like for photography, what counts is the man. cheers

  • @92796Apollo i hope u realize gibsons ARE fenders :l just fenders are a new type of style :p

  • @08Ghost893 I hope you realize...that you're an idiot. No offense. But you are.

    Solidbody Electric Guitars....

    Gibson: 1952

    Fender: 1950

Fender is just a new style? Nah. Get your facts straight and come back. Then we'll have a good guitar discussion.

  • @92796Apollo o3o good job >.> <.< i uhh.....yep i got nothin good job you win troll FTL?

  • Tremonti is so cool.

  • Brian's a beast on the bass!!!

  • wish scott still sounded this good

  • haha. i love how someone who thinks pearl jam is awesome and thinks creed sounds just like them, thinks creed sucks. tell me if i am an idiot, but wouldn't you like a band who has a similar style to your favorite band? just sayin. i personally think both are really good. creed has more songs i actually like though. i just like pearl jams ten album.

  • in the second 0:17 looks like stapp is riding a horse XD

  • wow look at marks shirt hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Mark wasn't the same without his PRS!

  • wow mark looks beautiful!!!!!!!

  • creed is the worse band in the world

they are the copy of one of my favorite bands: pearl jam

they were invited to woodstock because no one else wanted to

they were invited as they are

    a filling into rock world

  • @SebaChannel Oh really?

If no one else wanted to be at Woodstock '99, then why were these bands there: Metallica,Buckcherry,Korn,Rage Against The Machine,Kid Rock,Megadeth,Sevendust, and Godsmack? Why was Creed there, along with some of the biggest names in music at that time? There were plenty of other big names that weren't invited, so why was Creed? There were A LOT of other bands that could've been invited, but they invited Creed, so how is Creed the worst band?

  • @92796Apollo well thats my opinion

i really respect music and all musicians (or most of them) but i think that creed is the reply of an awesome band like pearl jam, but copies are not that awesome

    anyway

  • @SebaChannel I happen to disagree with the statement that Creed copied Pearl Jam.In no way do Scott's vocals sound anything like Eddie's.Mark's sound has more of a Jerry Cantrell style than the sounds of Stone Gossard.Brian, the best bassist of the 21st Century, sounds way different from Jeff Ament, who really sucks. All in all, I would say that Creed sounds a lot more like Alice In Chains. The copying of PJ is just something people use to bash Creed at every single opportunity.

  • @92796Apollo c'mon

ok if you think creed is good thats ok

but you cant say scott doesnt sound like eddie

  • @SebaChannel Maybe he does. But it's completely coincidental. And it's something that Scott can't change.

  • @SebaChannel You are a fucking retard, no one wanted to go to Woodstock. You don't even deserve to live. lol. You can say that Creed copied Pearl Jam, but then I can say that they both copied Jim Morrison of The Doors, a band that were huge back in the 60's. Just thought I'd give you a history lesson, dumbass.

  • It's weird seeing Mark playing a Les Paul and wearing that shirt. I have nothing against Creed but i gotta say that i like Alter Bridge better, their sound is better and at Myles doesnt steal anybody's voice haha. Naw but forreal, Alter bridge is more of my style but Creed was ok

  • Fuck them they make song from metallica, One and The unforgiven, this sucks metallica is much better

  • Mark plays a Gibson? Sick :D

  • @SocksInPanic USED to play a Gibson, now he plays a PRS Tremonti LE

  • @92796Apollo

I know that he has a PRS Siganture Model. thats why i wondered if it could be possible that he plays a Gibson :)

  • @SocksInPanic oh, ok. if he still has his Gibson, he should play it more than the PRS, dont you agree?

  • @92796Apollo

Well, I think that theres no big difference, one of his PRS has a tremolo, and I heard that he prefers the wide thin neck profile of the PRS, BUT Id love to see Mark play one of these beautiful Custom Shop Models on stage. :)

  • @SocksInPanic yea, so would i..that would be pretty awesome

  • I think Scott's shirt is a bit too big for him.

  • This music is weak.

  • Scott is a great vocalist, but the times that I've seen him since Creed reunited, he was pretty horrible... Still Creed are one of my favorites =)

  • omg what a voice

  • can't this mediocre guitarist do anything but put one foot on the speakers and thrash his head forwards and backwards. that's all he does this whole show

  • @wobblesin hey fuck you you you you youyou fuck yourself int the ass. i dont give a fucking shit about fucking spelling. marks one of the best guitrists in the world so shove your little "can't this mediocre guitarist do anything but put one foot on the speakers and thrash his head forwards and backwards. that's all he does this whole show" up your ass. Alter bridge is a hell of a lot better than creed for hells sakes. if u agree vote up and if you disagree with wobblesin vote up again

  • @baylorjose hahahaha wow you take everything so seriously

with all due respect to this awful song, there is nothing special about this band. they simply rip off other bands who came before them.

a good authentic band is Red Hot Chili Peppers who can be appreciated on many levels.

    creed is just terrible.

  • @wobblesin Yeah they're so horrible. Must be why they still have a huge following. Moron.

  • @spikeman23 well then, i guess the conclusion is that their huge following are all morons.

haven't we ever seen big crowds of people following something bad before?

  • @wobblesin That your conclusion. I've seen them live and they are far from bad. Scott stapp sucks , I'll agree with that but the band is good.

  • @wobblesin

It's sad that don't many people know about Mark Tremontis skills on guitar...Just search for Ties That Bind, Come To Life or Blackbird by Alter Bridge and you will have to eat that comment yoy wrote about an awesome guitarist.

  • @wobblesin haha you're hilarious. Mark Tremonti mediocre. Hilarious

  • 1:23 look at fucking Mark headbanging. Epic. even in that crazy jacket

  • that funny "one" and "unforgiven" are both Metallica songs, and Creed songs.

  • @iLikechevelle

yeah, I guess that's cause tremonti is a huge 'tallica fan ;-)

  • are you kidding me, Scott?? i'll forgive ya! :D

  • No more raping innocents acho FODA esse verso

    I think this verse fuck.Thanks Creed.CREED FOREVER!!!

    Go Brazil!!!!

  • SEXY SEXY SEXY Scott

  • @Blockxhead85 AGREE! =D

  • Is Mark on steroids here or something?! Check how effortlessly he plays those riffs... and they aren't that easy.

  • @FeedThemCake

partly adrenaline.. haha... and unforgiven isnt too tough

  • @FeedThemCake He plays most or all of those riffs effortlessly. Tremonti's the Superman of guitar, but epicrate31 is right about one thing: this song's not too hard.

  • i like Marks PRS guitars ....

  • Brian is a great bass player but it is sad that not many people know who he is. He is the backbone of the band and I have to say when he left the sound wasn't that good anymore. I'm not talking about mark because he did really good at recording the bass for weathered.

i'm talking about their touring bassist who had a really bad sound.

  • You can blame Brett Hestla for that.

    Great opinion :D

  • yea i totally agree, but scott phillips is an excellent drummer.

  • i agree with you my friend !

  • i know... but then... you have alterbridge, with mark, bryan m, scott p., and the gr8 voice of myles k... i know the are kind of different bands, but in my opinion alter b its better in many ways

  • @yeahyo56 dude marsh kix butt he is one of my fav bassists!!!!

  • @yeahyo56 Brian is awesome! I had the pleasure to meet him at lunch one day here in LA! Great guy and good to see him back!

  • @yeahyo56 youre one of the few ive seen give marshall some props. he is one of THE most underrated bassists alive today. he has some of the most original writing that i have ever heard. tru did an average job on the bass tracking, but you could TELL marshall was missing. without him, this band loses a HUGE part of its trademark sound.

  • @yeahyo56 i agree...Marshall definitely deserves more recognition. and, after he left, i noticed that creed's record sales went down about 6 million from Human Clay to Weathered, so he must be an important member of the band

  • @yeahyo56 Maybe they shouldn'tve tapped a singer to play bass?

  • @yeahyo56 I agree....Brian Marshall really have his way to make the bass stand up

  • @yeahyo56 i agree, but it sad how such a talented musician lacks the performing aspect

  • mark looks pretty good with that gibson. that was probably before he had a contract with PRS

  • Such a good voice for this style.

  • haha mark playing a les paul

  • I LOVE IT !

  • I LOVE IT !

  • lol mark tremonti wearing SRV clothes

  • scott phillips was a major influence on me

  • yea! he is a great drummer :D

  • What's up with Mark's shirt?! That's wild

  • theyre at woodstock man lol

  • scott phillips is a great drummer just look at him in the beginning!! :D

  • mark used to hold his guitar so high now its like touching the floor

  • ok guys: 4 words for all you debaters! :D

    SHUT THE FUCK UP!

both bands kick ass (personally I like Creed more because ive been listening to them since... basically since they were around)

  • OMG!!! Creed has a free show on a website called Rockpit on September 25th!

  • I was in heaven when they played this during the reunion tour. 3ft from the stage.

  • I'm tired of seeing Myles Kennedy/Scott Stapp debates on every Creed/Alter Bridge video I click on.

  • I think Myles Kennedy rocks way more than Scott Stapp - not only can Myles sing, but he can shred. Also, Mark is a master of a guitarist, and he also has an amazing ear for music. I think it's safe to say that Mark knew what he was doing when he hired Myles to front Alter Bridge. But regardless of who's fronting, both bands are Mark's bands and without a doubt, he's the reason that the music is as good as it is.

  • I agree with WMcDerm10 . . . who the hell is that? I can guarantee that if I went around and asked who he was . .. most people would be clueless. If I asked who is Scott Stapp . .. they would know.

  • who is myles

  • myles kennedy singer for alter bridge

  • And Creed couldn't get arrested in the UK let alone sell a record during the 90s, hence why they are only playing in America, because overseas they can't sell a record

  • how's that? Creed sold at least 9million records outside the US. They toured in Japan in '99. and New Zealand in and Australia in 20001. You really don't know anything do you, yet you write comments like you do. Yeah, a band is not determined on how good they are by the number of records they sold. A band is deemed good in the eyes and ears of the beholder..in other words, by opinion only of it's listeners..the greater number of good opinions, the greater album sales.

  • So the difference here is, if you like Alter Bridge, your preference is backed by, let's say at most, 2million other opinions=(some bought the record, some pirated it). My preference is Creed, and my preference is supported by at least 30 million other people, who bought their records..not counting the other fans who just downloaded their records.. Your preference, against my preference??? If it were decided by the majority, you already know who's preference wins!! right?! it aint Alter Bridge..

  • So hang on, so you don't like Alter bridge because of the amount of albums they've sold , which is basically what you're saying, and you assume i don't like Creed, i have all their albums, have seen them play live , i just prefer the heavier more technical style of AB and think that Myles Kennedy is a better frontman and vocalist, and as Scott is having problems with his voice due to having along history of throat problems, i don't think there is much dispute over that fact

  • Myles Kennedy is not a good singer, if you listen to their songs live, he changes the way the lines are sang, coz he can't sing stand to sing high notes all the time..and to me, that is a poor frontman..listen to them playing live, and you'll hear some verses not being sang well, compared to the way it's sang in the album..How can you call that a good frontman?? and he's not even a good guitarist, he can play lead, but not good..watch and listen closely to their live videos here in youtube.

  • I don't have to, I've seen them 3 times thanks, and the guy has an amazing voice, and if you watch the live dvd he plays some incredible slide guitar

Look mate you live in your bubble where record sales are your marker for a good band, and i'll continue watching bands push themselves, on this subject we are never going to agree, Creed's songs technically are not as good as Alter Bridges, and that isn't opinion, that's fact, there are more chord changes and solo runs in AB's music than Creed's

  • Myles? the guy has a nasal/annoying voice..you wanna listen to an amazing voice? listen to Candlebox's Kevin Martin..Into the Sun is the best album of 2008..Kevin Martin will eat Myles Kennedy alive..for now, just wait for Creed's upcoming album, and listen to the solos..we'll see.

  • Just like every creed album , i will be getting it, I am a fan of the band , and it should sell in the UK aswell, because Alter bridge are massive here, and Mark has become quite the guitar icon, but it needs to be a bit more like My own prison for me

  • Oh and for amazing voices listen to Kamelot, or Jorn ,Roy Khan's voice is amazing , I recommend the song Charlotte

  • chord changes/solos aren't always the marker for a good song..Do you listen to the Beatles? do you ever hear solos? if you want technical stuff, let's talk about Dream Theater, Rush, and other fusion bands..that's technical, and you'll drown with all the solos you'll hear. The only reason why you hear more solos in AB is because there are 2 guitar players..Mark is ok when talking about guitar solos, nothing spectacular to me..although his chord progressions/riffs are great. Myles? mediocre.

  • If you listen to the video on top..this was Scott Stapp in his prime..it's just a shame, he's not the same guy.. Maybe it will be Creed's last tour, I hope not..But Alter Bridge will NEVER be as successful as Creed..cheers!

  • I agree Alter Bridge will not sell as many recirds, because for some reason America see Scott Stapp as some sort of creative genius, it doesn't mean that Alter Bridge are any less of a band, i don't rate the Beatles , sorry but they were not as amazing as people make out, and Sgt pepper is a mess, I love prog, been a dream theater fan for 13 years , and was lucky enough to see Rush at wembley 2 years ago, as for Myle's voice, i think you're hearing 2 different people, he is winning awards here

  • And Myles is also a talented guitarist which also adds to their sound, i see creed as the Bluprint for Alter Bridge, the guys did Alter under scott's terms, then went away and made 2 albums using their talents , how many guitar solos does Mark play in creed ?, in al;ter he can play solos, come up with multi layered riffs, and play in a heavier style, the whole band seem to be more at home playing in AB because they play their music in their style , not Scott or the radio's

  • and I don't even call that improvisation, coz the outcome is not as better as how it is in the record.. Scott was a great frontman..was..now, he just can't cut it..but in anyday, I'd still pick Scott over Myles.

  • if this band didn't break up 7 years ago, they could have sold at least 50 million albums already. Considering Scott's attitude didn't change, and his health didn't change. This band dominated the rock scene from the late 90's to the early 2000.

  • Mark rules!

  • ŚWIETNA GITARKA;) I TEN GLOS

  • My own Prison is still their best album, and Scott's voice is shot if the AOL footage is anything to go by, can't wait to hear if the new creed album is as good as Blackbird personally, that'll be a feat , those 2 Alter bridge albums destry anything after My Own prison , Blackbird is just epic

  • Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti said that the new album thats coming out will be more like the album My Own Prison than anything else. And yeah, Alter Bridge was awesome. I hope there's more crazy guitar in Creed's new album like Alter Bridge did.

  • I'm just hoping that the fact they all now need each other means that maybe Creed becomes more of a band and, not a Scott Stapp ego project, and i'm sure that was one of the stipulations the band had before agreeing to do it again, I am looking forward to this album, I just hope it doesn't mean that AB take a backseat, which to me would be terrible , as they're a brilliant band

  • Creed is a brilliant band too. And Scott Stapp's ego was one of the reason's they split in the first place. So i really doubt that he will have that same ego now that they are back together. And the other reason Creed split up was because Scott Stapp started to do drug's.

  • The only problem they seem to have , going by th new footage on this site, is that Scott's voice hasn't aged well, he really seems to be struggling at the moment, maybe he just needs to do a tour and get the voice back up to strength, he hasn't been touring unlike the band , so he probably needs the practice

  • Well i just got done watching Creed perform at the AOL session's. You can find it at the top of there myspace page. And his voice sounds nice. Sound's like he's been doing pretty good to me.

  • You've been listening to a different AOL session to me then because compared to this, his vocals sound strained, all the power has gone, and in the new live footage from the tour, he's out of tune, a lot, and some guys who went to the show even commented on that

  • we hope so..but I doubt..back in 2002, when his voice started to deteriorate due to constant touring, and because he had an accident, and a throat operation. We could just wish he'd get better. Right now, his voice sucks. Even if they tuned down a halfstep, he still can't reach those notes. The growl and huskiness of his voice is all gone.

  • that's your opinion..Blackbird didn't even go Gold.. My Own Prison is 5x platinum. Yeah, Scott's voice is shot, I hope he gets better. My favorite creed album is Human Clay, 11x platinum!

  • Why do you always see how good a band are by how many records they sell ?, there are bands that don't sell any records at all that play in pubs that are superb, Alter Bridge are an amazing band, with brilliant riffs , superb guitar solos and in Myles Kennedy arguably the best frontman and vocalist in rock at the moment, and the live dvd coming out hopefully wil show America what they've been ignoring, over here in Europe Alter Bridge are huge , there are more places in the world than America

  • i agree with tonisoadmix creed is amazing!and mark probley adjusted his amp or added an effect at 2:16

  • People say Creed is the worst band in the world.

Now I'm curious why CREED was invited to Woodstock, and many other bands were not.

This video says "STFU" to the people quoted in the first line ^^

C'MON CREED, BRING IT ON FULL CIRCLE ^^

  • Yeah!! how can they be the worst band when they sold 30million albums worlwide! Full Circle will at least be 3x platinum..stop hating Creed guys, if you can't control them, support them.

  • @ToniSoadMix rednecks listen to redneckmusic ? :D

  • what was mark doing at 2:16-18

  • adjusting for a better sound.

  • at part 0:18, it looks like scott stapp is trying to fly. hehe. Stapp kicks ass man, woohooo Creed!! Best Band with Metallica and Bruce Springsteen!

  • Mark Tremonti, i luv u. ur the best guitarist in the world with kirk hammett. Greets from Finland. Great riffs dude. Luv ya man o.0

  • I hope full circle has some heavier stuff like this!! Tremonti and Marshall are built for this shit!!!

  • I totally agree with you! I miss the old Creed.. the last album was too "pop".

  • No way. Bullets, Freedom Fighters, Signs!

  • Yeah but that's just 3 songs... the whole album was "too soft". I'm not saying I don't like it. It's just that they changed, specially Stapp. They tried to get to different audiences and it was too forced.

  • i agree!

  • Flip really impresses in this performance

  • look at the sweet 1999 fashion.

  • CREED sows the real good ROCK seed.

Psalms 33: Play music w/ guitars & drums, LOUD !

    LOUD CREED NEXT CD

  • that rigth creed is back

  • Creed is back!!!!!

  • lol, this was the first time i saw him use a les paul=)

  • he uses a lp custom in the whats this life for music video beautiful instrument

  • it's wierd to see him without a paul reed smith

  • they are not so much a christian rock band...technically yes but they are more of a rock band with christain views...and its kool because they appeal to a broad audiance

  • i agree that they are not a christian band... they have incredibily written lyrics.... and they are related to life not to religion...there are more like a philosophical band...

  • look you are right they are not a christian band but the lead singer IS a christian and he does write songs about god because hes had lots of struggle with religion ... om not scared of religion like most of the people who riddicule them.. if god is at the center of this guys mind when he writes then good for him it dont bother me at all.. especially if the songs are this bad ass

  • scott stapp rocks and mark tremonti does an awesome job here, considering he's the only guitarist on stage.

  • Awesome Creed song. Jam out Scott!

  • Man they really needed a second guitar, would have made it sound alot more better

  • This was 99' dude. Rhythm guitarists were real scarce then.

  • he doesn't really fuck up. he droppec a stick around 2:53 . it happens. i've been playing for close to 14 years and lack of experience doesn't have much to do with that like somebody said before. Your hands do get sweaty and if you don't use grip tape sticks can slip sometimes. it happens.

  • when did flip screw up?

  • creed the best

  • Actually, they were muscially very good and his vocals were very good for the most part. But I'd agree with the poser thing, it's like he is acting overly macho on purpose. But seriously, excellent performances.

  • they were very good live..that poseur thing..erm..u must be talking about his voice..same old issue..

  • Great performance!

  • Creed Rocks!

  • lol haha Flip did screw up!

  • I know......... ha ha ha its funny....... did you know that he started playing drums at 18 years of age.... so he didn't have much experience back then, in the beginning of CREED.

  • lol i think he dropped a stick and had to grab a new one

  • Tremonti's overdrive sounded weird..... I love alot more his tone nowadays......... Flip screwed up after a thrill......lol......Creed rocked pretty fuckin hard back then.

  • Not bad man

  • did you here Flip's fuck up ? Funny eh ?

  • HaHA c'est drole man c'est comme NOUS :)
