I think they did that so that it would reference the next boss in the series. You fight King K. Rool on a pirate ship and then fight a pirate version for the next last boss. You fight Kaptain K. Rool in a High-tech plane, then you fight a scientist!

I think they meant to purposely reference the last boss. :)

This is a lie this isn"t the real final boss then real one is in the lost world,if you beat the rocket level in it you can go to the bear hut unlock it and you will fight kaos one more time [first of all he isn't even K. Rool his name is Kaos

having anyone other than kranky, funky etc. with lines was a mistake. It also looks like the final boss in county two was so many worlds harder to beat. Much harder timing and didn't have such simple ways to hit him.
