the only thing I remember is that I loved this movie

  • Wooooo! Charlie Sheen!!

  • I was obsessed with this movie as a kid. Disney classic!

Did anyone notice that the king is the child Christy Brown from My left foot?

    lol

  • somethingsomethingsomething "Stabs with sword" UGLY

  • this film version is "The Three Musketeers"...for kids, just as "The Great Mouse Detective" is "Sherlock Holmes" for kids. Besides, Disney always sanitizes the fairy tales they base their films on ("Aladdin, "The Little Mermaid" & my personal favourite

"Beauty And The Beast," etc) because the originals are too dark for kids, so they read them when they're old enough.

This wasnt the best 3 Musketeers film but it did have some funny lines

  • Films from 1993 are the best.

  • for me it seems like yesterday

  • I read the book but there weren't mentioned such big battles and obviously it's happening in "Three Musketeers" and not for example "Twenty Years After".

  • amen to that.

  • Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu, Cardinal Richelieu (1585-1642)--sometimes considered the First Prime Minister of France. He sought to consolidate royal power and crush domestic factions. By restraining the power of the nobility, he transformed France into a strong, centralized state. His chief foreign policy objective was to check the power of the Austro-Spanish Habsburg dynasty. He established a large network of spies in France as well as in other European countries.

  • Entertaining, but not as great as the Reed-York-Chamberlain-Finlay Series by Richard Lester, very faithful to the book and captures the mood and characters so much better.

  • lol the king had to do something to prove that he took part in this XD

  • yes he did. that was a nice punch.

  • Cool movie, but does the Cardinal Just walk--err swim away? Curse you, Disney for changing it from the book!

  • No, I guess they fetch him out of the water afterwards so he can be sentenced and probably hanged or imprisoned for a long time. However, with his heavy cloaks, it's amazing an unconscious man wouldn't just drown there and then. The king might not have had him killed because it still might have upset the Vatican, and it would have upset his political strength. I don't think they had the guillotine in the late 17th century. This is quite altered from the book.

  • You can also guess that because of everything he's wearing, including his power, he drowns.

  • What the hell. *grin* *punch*

    Wha...?!

  • yeah WTF

  • This is a great movie!
