GT5 - Seeing the FFB on the near impossible TG Intermediate race

God Lewis... Now I have the game I realise how bloody hard this one is. The Elise handles like a Velocita on crack with a crapload of understeer. How do you manage to not slip out while cornering or countersteering? :|

To all needing help with this, try these settings. Traction Control-7, skid recovery-on, active steering-strong,and ABS-10. I got it first try with these settings. gl

I noticed that the people who have passed this have been using all of the assists.

I'm still sticking to the way that I've been driving GT since the first one - going through the entire game with every single assist switched off. I've managed to gold absolutely everything else I've done so far, and I want to keep it that way :)

I used very unorthodox overtaking to get the gold on this one, lol.

I hate this challenge! I've had a good 10 tries so far and don't think I've actually finished due to spinning out and quitting haha. Need to get my wheel out and stop with the shit controller :) Do you race cockpit view? I race 1st person (dials view)

Still not as hard as getting gold on the Norunburg track or whatever it's called - that I found ridiculoiusly hard. And the one in the mountain - Eiger or something.

Oh the bad memories ... you're pretty smooth out of corners, but slow as a result. Like I'd imagine you are doing with the pedals, I'm altering the pressure of the x-button as I leave corners, but it's bloody hard. Kudos to anyone who completes this one. I managed to get 1st on that very last corner ... took me a good 45 minutes though. I know you've gone in-car for the replay, but which view do you "actually" use?

@Cirrus5005 Don't you use R2 for accelerator? That's how I vary the accelerator pressure.

Nice vid Lewis, this event was really tough for me. the Lotus is so dang touchy and spins out in a heartbeat. I managed a 2nd place on this event and decided that was enough.  Interesting that you like the in-car view, I can't really get that to work for me. I do better with the 1st person view.
