Best cover of this I've ever heard. The lyrics, "you'll never get away from the sound of the woman who loves you" has never struck such a chord with me before from other versions of this song as this one does.
@grimeylad I agree. Great vocal. I don't think he did it on purpose. I'm not sure what key they're doing this in, but if we think of it in A minor, the progression should be Am--G/B(G first inversion)--C and so on. I'm not around an instrument but it sounds like he fudged the inversion and just made it a B minor chord instead. Some of it is intentionally dissonant though. It sounds like he's throwing a 9th into that Am for example.
I am in love with Stacy's voice. I have been ever since I first heard I Wasn't Prepared in 2005. In no way is that a knock against Sherri in the least. They both have amazing voices, but Stacy has the sweetness to her that melts me every time I hear it. I first heard this song a while back when they first put it out and was simply floored. I love the original, but I love this one even more.
Beautiful! "Silver Springs" is a very emotional bittersweet song written by the legendary Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac. Search YouTube for: Fleetwood Mac - The Dance-1997-Silver Springs
The second chord in that bridge is the only thing that is not so nice in this video, But I really love this music! And epic that Darren King plays guitar.
@MrJaapKooiman that chord is like my favorite part. It brings more depth to the song and the sound of it helps you understand the meaning of the song.
I read an article a few years ago and Stacy interviewed Stevie Nicks (as she is one of Stacys favs) and I think Stevie should be honored with this cover... Such a beautiful, haunting voice with FLAWLESS delivery... A+++
when I hear this I just imagine sitting on a couch in front of a fire during a winter night with christmas just around the corner. It is such a good feeling.
I know this is pretty, and I love it and it's great...I just feel it would have SO much more power if it'd had drums in it. I can hear the beat in my head.
Music can sometimes penetrate the soul when you least expect it, for it flows through the air and overwhelms your heart with utter joy. This song does that to me enormously with its Big church like piano and the voice of an Angel from the heavens above and the grand musical chords that strike the essence that bring out the best in being human. I am simply blown away. ~marco~
Sorry, Eisley, that it didn't work out with your label. I'm upset that album #3 didn't materiaize. I can't understand what they couldn't see about you to better promote you. Your songs are melodic, and you're young and beautiful.
Not taking away from anyone else in the band, but Stacy's the most gifted. How ironic that she was rejected by her older sisters when she attempted to join them when she was 9. And now, she's their heart and soul.
Screw WB! Keep going Eisley! You're gonna make it!
I adore how Stacy has evolved over the years, she's letting her talent show and I can see how shes taking charge of her character and expressing herself through her music. It's beautiful really how confident shes become :)
PS - Would LOVE to see this band in NYC this May at Night of 1,000 Stevies.....this would be an amazing ballad to end the night with. ^^ I can't stop listening to it....super excited to see a fabulous band do a Stevie Nicks cover. This song is so underrated.

This proves that not all real talent in presented through the national television's eye. Grammys are about "popular" music. (hint: Swift/knowles/gaga/fox)
I can't stop listening to this! it's amazing. I agree with @rinkudinku Stacy should sing on stage with Stevie Nicks. Taylor's grammy performance was not good at all : /
This is the kinda talent Stevie Nicks should be sharin' a stage with.. not Taylor Frakkin' Swift.. I'd never heard of this band before, but this is great.
You're not alone. I discovered Eisley just a couple of years ago and saw them on their tour with Mute Math. But they had been around years before then. What frustrates me is that the world still doesn't really know Eisley because Warner Bros refused to promote them. They were able to opt out of their contract only recently after trying for 2 years to leave WB. They deserved so much better. Please spread the word about Eisley.
She has such a consistently amazing voice...it's so warm and has a great amount of depth to it. Also, it's amazing how focused and emotional the performance is. I aspire to be able deliver this kind of a performance. Beautiful!
