  • Just what I need. An engine that requires a master's degree in engineering to maintain.

    Heaven forbid that GM didn't go the opposite way and produce a robust inline-six worker-bee Diesel engine that invites the owner to do his own basic maintenance, delivers incredible fuel economy, and is easy for any garage to work on.

  • @InfiniteMushroom I agree, Power Stroke is the same way. Look at all that crap in between and atop of the motor. They really need to go with a I6 design too. People are going to go broke trying to maintain these engines, worse when they break down. The Powerstroke too you have to remove the cab to service the turbos or do certain work. Cummin's makes a 4 cylinder baby engine they use in the bread trucks/delivery trucks, not everyone needs excessive power.

  • GM is Garbage always has been always will be.....Rather buy a Powerstroke or Cummings :-)
