• with the movement in Egypt towards democracy and possibly Jordan, why don’t they have the Arab world accept some responsibility and carve up a state for the "Palestinians" from their land and let the Jews have their small strip of biblical land and let them live in peace. How greedy can the Arabs be?
The so-called arab palestinians have no right to the land. Lets look at the facts.
there is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Never an exclusively arab country.
The Palestines have never had control or ownership of Israel, because they have NEVER been an autonomous government. The west bank was controlled mainly by Egypt & Gaza was mainly controlled by Jordan. The rest was desert & never inhabited until the Jews reclaimed there land. The Palestinian suffering is the surrounding arab nations problem.
Palestinians killing each other on roads, in hospitals, in mosques, throwing each other from buildings and this is the fault of Israel, US and EU. Wow what a great analysis, could Palestinians suffer more with victim mentality?
World community owes nothing to Palestinians and under no obligation to pay their tax-payers' money to terrorist just because Palestinian has elected this genocidal Hamas. Palestinians deserved what they are getting; they knew exactly what were they voting for.
what did hamas won?killed so many of his own tranish the palestinian unity(lol) and he want to declare war on israel?fatah was the only reason thet israel kept sending gaz power food and medicine to gaza!now its a hostile territory and the palastinians will suffer for thet.
Hamas was elected by the people whether one agrees or disagrees with its policies. Abbas and his supporters in the Arab world, Israel and the West did everything to kill the results of the election. The Palestinians should go back to the voters to determine their future.
Excellent video which presents the current situation in Palestine in a brief, but succinct way. I disagree with the notion though that a government cannot perform a coup d'etat on itself. IMO, it can if it's a coalition government and one of the members seizes all of the power by force. That's effectively what happened, except the question of who performed a coup d'etat on whom is a bit more complicated topic.
um, cut off monies to the US? We send around a trillion dollars a year to other countries. That's 1,000,000,000,000 dollars, or about the size of the entire economy of canada or mexico. I've been watching this conflict and the peace process for 30 years now. It is becoming ludicrous. I think that is the reason world governments are only taking limited action. It's because there is no solution. I personally think it will only end when one side or the other is all dead.
The World is ignoring this. Where the hell is the U.N.? What a travesty. Governments should cut off all moneys to the United States. Hamas, Hezbollah...it's the same thing. Puppets of Iran.
Jordan is Palestine

The US will soon revive another peace conference on Palestine & Israel to distract from the failure in Iraq.

The residents of Gaza are held hostage by the Israelis and now by the bickering between the Palestinians.

This is a correct analysis. What do you expect to happen in Gaza when you treat Gaza residents like inmates in an overcrowded prison?
