  • who else checked their phone????

  • your phone rang and i was looking for my phone

  • Um.. Um.. Um.. Um.. Um.

  • Great review mate!

One question: How long last the replacement burner?

Only 12 hours or 2000 like the original one?

    Thanks

  • How do you turn it off? lol

  • @AznThatSkates you have to let it burn out

  • Thanks for posting this. Every question I had ready to ask is covered here. Cheers, Derek.

  • Ronsonol lighter fluid IS zippo lighter fluid. look on the bottom left or bottom right corner of the bottle. It says made by zippo company or something like that.

  • Are you sure that thing is authentic? It looks different than any other one I've ever seen.

  • @stuntmanmike37 Not sure. But it sure works great. Been using it a ton this winter.

  • Can someone tell me how often you have to replace the element that burns? thanks.

  • @Lizard6376 after approx. 70-80 uses. you can buy a replacement for like five pounds

  • @Lizard6376 I have had mine for several years now and probably used it 50 times and no sign of the element burning out. So I am not sure.

  • How the hell can authentic mean fake? Said after just explaining he's seen them in different packaging on eBay!

  • is it safe if you were to fall asleep with it in your pocket of a jacket or something

  • @TheAkimboSnipers I would think so. I have done it several times. Leave it in my pocket that is.

  • @mediamst alright thanks a lot, keep making your awesome videos!

  • @TheAkimboSnipers

I wouldnt depend on that, but im sure its fine if it happens on accident.

  • This is nothing new, it probably came out in the 1960s, its called Peacock hand warmer, the pattern of the holes on the cap resembles a peacock. I put it in my left pocket in winter. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell of the lighter fluid rised up & its a form of pollution I kept inhaling.

  • @Catnip2011 I love the smell! Still, I did chemistry as my degree :)

  • How do you put it out when you're done with it???

  • @mrmaxwelljohnston There is a little cap you just pull off. Then the smoldering piece of cotton or whatever it is, is no longer making contact with the fuel supply.

  • @mediamst Hi there, Maybe a silly question but does the little cap get very hot? I assume that you'll need to cover it with something when removing it to not burn your fingers? Cheers!

  • @mrmaxwelljohnston I put mine in a tobacco tin. It starves it of oxygen in a couple of minutes. It's cool to the touch within a few minutes after that

  • i bought one, couldnt understand exactly how to use it till you showed me, thanks man I owe ya., good choice on the ronsonal too, it works better than zippo in my opinion

  • This should be from the book "how to be badass"

  • Warm your hands ... WITH FIRE!

  • I find that Ronsonol is the best! I've used zippo brand fluid, and it burns too fast. I ended up filling my zippo about every two days or so (using zippo brand).

  • Great review. I ordered one last night. Iht was good to see the slight changes between this and the current production model.

  • for zippo products your only supposed to use zippo lighter fluid and yes there is a difference. if you use a different brand name fluid like the one in the video it does not give off as good of a flame as if you use the brand name fluid for your brand name lighter. ;) your welcome buddy

  • How do i blow or get the flame out?

  • what is the name or mark of this hand warmer please?

  • @tomspeed2005 zippo.

  • Pick Up the F*ing Phone !!!

  • Walmart

  • i have a zippo saudia arabia my dads freind gave him and he gave it to me

  • where do you buy that ronsonal lighter fluid and please be specific because other videos dont help

  • @hughxie1998 homehard wher has it in my town

  • Haha house phone's are an endangered species.

  • I want to know how do you put it out.

  • @ericanddiego1 you light it with a lighter

  • i just simply was with hot water after ariving home!

  • i have one shipping to me now. I have bad circulation to the hands, so they get really code. so hopefully this will help. does it give off much of a smell? I'll probably mainly be using this while hunting and don't want it to ward off the deer.

  • @outwestjake It will give off a slight odor.

  • i have a question my school is all open and it get around -10 and i get there like 20 15 mins early can i just light this when i leave home and thro it in my backpack without worrieing bout it leaking like will it leak if its upsidedown for prolonged amounts of time

  • @AwwC00L Yup. You can leave it in backpack.

  • junk i haVE ONE for hunting by grabber warmers

  • lighter fluid or butane.

  • @PartyWithMyVacuum lighter fluid

  • @wikidlover thanks

  • Great piece of kit...

  • I think that sticker could be a colour gauge, so maybe you dont stick it onto the wick you compare the colour red is lit, orange is partially lit, and white is not lit

  • how long does it last for on a full filling of fuel?

  • is it for football too?

  • @bBKcPRODUCTIONSx lmao, it's for whatever you need a handwarmer for, for ice fishing, for being outside in the cold, maybe i could strap one to my motorcycle gloves to keep feeling in my hands in the cold!

  • Can you still light a fag with it

  • @lubok757 homophob....

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 Lol i think he means the british meaning of fag :L

  • @heshoots9999 i know

  • you have to buy wics for it often or do they last a while?

  • @RelicDevelop it dosint use a wic

  • how do you turn it off

  • @adamchavid Just pull the cap off and it shuts off.

  • @mediamst

Wouldnt that burn the shit out of your hand?!?

  • @xxyblocxx i got one today and it comes with a bag, its essential to put it in that bag because that stops it getting too hot in your hand if you dont yes it will burn you

  • How do u shut them off after there lit? like if u end up leaving ice fishing or hunting before it runs out of fluid?

  • @Buschwacker66

Good questions, Busch!! I am trying to find the answer myself, but doesn't seem like too many people have the same question as us. From my very, very limited understanding... the thing will burn all the fuel you've got. So, if you only want it to burn for an hour a day... you'd only fill it 1/10th of the way, or whatever.

Perhaps I'm wrong and there is a way to control the shut off... so, anybody want to put the final nail in the coffin?

  • How do I stop my Hand Warmer from heating?

To stop the heating action, carefully pry off the burner element with pliers, a knife or edge of the lid. The burner element will be very hot. Do not touch it to the skin or any flammable surface. The burner and catalytic unit will then extinguish in about 30 seconds. When the burner and catalytic unit have cooled, replace the burner and the lid.

  • Comment removed

  • @Buschwacker66 Just pull the cap off.

  • the box on ebay was different because those are the brand new version of Zippos hand warmer, they get hotter.

  • this is the old version BTW.

  • hey dude to make sure its lit theres a thing on the side that you put on the wick and you can see if its lit by the change of color or something

  • I Love Handwarmers I am obsessed hehe !! But i have s thing when they click by their self !

  • quite helpfull thanks

  • I have been using catalytic hand warmers for 30 plus years. The zippo is my 3rd one. My first 2 were other brands. The zippo is sharper looking and is not as bulky. It puts out sufficient heat but not as much as my other 2. My other 2 would sometimes get too hot. I like my zippo enough I am getting a 2nd one for my other coat pocket.

  • I have used mine a lot since this review and love it! I would like to get another for the other pocket as well!

  • i like it, thanks for showing 5/5
