  • Listened twice then closed my eyes and repeated the words and what color it meant, then opened my eyes, covered the word in the corner, and turned off the volumed and said the color in german :D

  • Lila? I always learned violett.

  • @gg454lune both are mixes of blue and red. Actually its the same, but if you want to be precisely: Violett contains more blue and is "colder" than lila, which contains more red.

  • Rolling my tongue for speaking German and Spanish is a problem for me. 0.o

  • @thebeastman33 Actually the "r" has nothing to do with the tongue. You do this by tightening your throat until the air vibrates while breathing out.

  • @FelkCraft Really? Any techniques to practice?

  • @thebeastman33 No, sorry, I just tried it myself and I do not use my tongue (I'm German)

  • @FelkCraft there are two general types of german 'r's; one is rolled and the other is the throaty one. the south tends to roll a bit more. i rolled my r when i lived in a small village in BW, but when I lived in HD I picked up the throaty one.

  • danke! perfecto para continuar con mi estudio de alemán! perfect to continue with my studies of german!

  • I learned "lila". thanks

  • thanks
